This is rare and odd cable that some Lenovo laptops come with. I was not clear the issue is with my charger or the cable. So I first ordered a cheap charger that works but overheats like anything and then fluctuates until switched off.Then I decided to go for this cable although it seemed expensive, but what's the use of laptop it doesn't power up, with that thought ordered it.After almost 7 years, the original cable got damaged and I was strapping it with the fragile workaround.This cable is equivalent in the quality and functions very well. It felt satisfying to put money into it.

Works as expected

A simple part that shouldn't break BUT the stock Lenovo cord stopped working after about a year. This replacement cord WORKS as intended and appears to be high quality. Arrived folded in loose S rather than wound round which I like because it makes it easier to store in a manner that I feel is less like to result in shorts in the future.

My computer was saying plugged in not charging. I had this problem twice in the past and the replacement cord fixed the problem. This time the cord was not the problem, it was the charging port. It turns out that charging ports cost less than $10 and are easy to replace (just 2 screws once the case is open). I expect this cord to work fine once my new port is installed.

It does what it is supposed to do
