This does nothing to solve the burning. No Piridium in it at all. Just aspirin and caffeine.

Several years ago I switched from Azo Standard to Uricalm because they had a maximum strength dose of Phenazopyridine. Since I suffer from frequent UTIs, I know that this is the only medication that will target the pain, burning and frequency that accompanies them. I recently needed the medication and the "Intensive" was the only Uricalm product on the drug store shelf, so I bought it thinking it must be an improved version. I should have checked the package...the active ingredients are...aspirin, Tylenol and caffeine...basically, a Goody Powder. Great when you have a headache but does nothing to relive UTI pain. I went back and found that Azo Standard now has a max strength...I will stick with Azo. Uricalm...shame on you!!

Uricalm Intensive does not work as claimed. When I take Azo, the pain subsides after just one dose. I tried the Uricalm Intensive this time because it was the only thing on the shelf at the pharmacy. Not only has it not helped, but I think the pain has worsened since I started taking pills yesterday. I still have more than half a bottle remaining, but I will never again use this product.

I get frequent UTI's, but I normally use AZO, this was the only thing on the shelf at the store so, of course, I got it to just try it. It does NOT work, it has replaced the normal feeling of extreme pressure with the worst burning feeling I have ever felt. Will definitely not buy his ever again.
