A good reliable printer for day to day use.Good value all round
Used this series of printer from day 1, and this one was just as good as all the rest. Easy to set up, and easy to use.Quiet, excellent print quality but ink a bit pricey.

Good make
Was delivered really quickly and was fairly easy to set up. Easy to use but disappointed that the double-sided print option is manual and not automatic and does not appear when printing, to enable you to choose it in the selection box

It's compact good for small printing
I had a professional printer with all in one including fax, scan tray, automatic 2 side printing etc so I came from top spec to mid range naturally I am bias and noticed a difference. I think the printing quality is not overwhelming, it's ok it's neat but not the best I've seen. However I bought it because it's compact the ink is cheap and as I don't print much that's the best solution. The feeding paper system is a bit of a pain and sometimes hit and miss but if you don't print much, like me, that should not be a bother. All in all it does it's job but not the most convenient. Installing...well...I mean I use it on mac and windows but there is a huge difference between the systems...a lot of apps and drivers needed. It would have been easier to build a single app that does all rather than 1 for scanning 1 for printing 1 for photos etc. Again it's good for a couple of pages here and there.

Read reviews don't listen to a friend!
I was recommended this printer by a friend who had bought one and thought it value for money. To be honest trying to wade through the features and benefits of cheap all in one printers had left me numb with tedium. The printer was elegant to look at small and compact, but felt a bit flimsy. The multilingual instructions were pretty basic but enough to be able to get it unpacked and the ink cartridges installed. Printed the test alignment and there was a small gap in the ink. But reading the cleaning instructions said using the head cleaning mode used a lot of ink. I only had the initial cartridges so decided against it. Then the fun started!I printed off the 3 pages of code, some of which is going to used to enter a pass word and other info. While I did this it was not fully clear how to do this and it took a couple of attempts. All set now to link it to my laptop. I pressed the buttons in the order on the instructions, lights flashed and then a stable light on one of the Wi Fi indicators. While the instructions were not clear here, I then used the 'add a printer' on the laptop. The laptop found the device, but at the next stage would not establish a connection and just timed out. I tried this for the next three hours using two different laptops along the way. I down loaded the Epson printer set up assistant, but this did not recognise the devise! I watched a couple of YouTube videos all to no avail. I was going to use my phone, when my partner, who had by this time read some of the reviewed warned against this owing to complications others had had using this method. She asked me if I had read the reviews and I said no! She commented that had I done so I would not have purchased the item as so many other people have had the same issue with connecting the printer by Wi FiOn that I repackaged the printer ready for collection and refund. Shame as for the money it would be been fine.

Easy to install when you read the instructions properly.
I am not technically minded and I didn’t turn on the router connection button. It took awhile to set up because I wasted time looking on the printer for a button. Once I had reread the instructions and used the Epson QR code at the same time watching the video I was able to connect to WiFi then to iPhone, iPad and Asus laptop. The laptop is easiest to use because it is just there. To use with my iPad and iPhone I have to select the printer. This did take a while to get used to but now it is just habit. I am really pleased with the print quality and it is such a relief to be able to print. The printer was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition.

Faulty/ used item received
I purchased this printer in November 2020. Since the purchase I had issues with it related to printing quality (very pale print) and paper jams, or it simply did not print. A year on, it finally broke down completely.Very poor quality, I suspect the item was used and faulty from the start.

Disappointing - impossible to print from phone
Although I realised that the printer was not air-print enabled, I expected the Epson i-print feature to be easy to set up and use, but I have been totally disappointed as, despite many attempts at following the instructions, I have still not been able to simply print anything from my phone or iPad. Extremely complex to set up compared to my experience with other printers. Makes a mockery of having a wireless connection when (in my case) you have to use the computer right next to the printer anyway. Printer is otherwise okay though seems heavy on ink and photo printing disappointing. I regret not having replaced my Canon with another Canon. At the cost I cannot confine this to the bin - which is what I'd like to do, but will certainly not choose another Epson product in the future.

Good value and quality
Bought this for WFH . I am a technophobe so got my wife to set up . The instructions are good apart from the section of WiFi .My wife almost got to blows with tech support saying she did not know what she was doing , which she did not hence calling them. All sorted now up and running with no issues.Goid quality for the money
