Lawn mower wasn't running too well. Stripped the carburettor from the engine and removed the main jet. Used this kit together with carburettor cleaning fluid. The engine now runs as it should. Cheaper to buy this kit than put the lawnmower into a service agent.

Motorcycle mechanic and these are for carburettors which people love to leave filled with E5 petrol that goes off and here’s the news E10 will be worse! Sonic cleaner, followed by these probes then sonic cleaner. If you’re in luck they’ll work if not it’s an expensive pain for new ones after the expensive pointless pain of paying for cleaning. Listen! Turn fuel tap off preferably drain the tank or fully fill it, drain your carbs if you’re leaving you bike lying up it’s not difficult and if you want to know how go to your local dealer a mechanic there will be delighted to tell you so he won’t have to strip and clean them.

Theses are really good value for your money stainless steel carb cleaners that don’t bend the brushes are very well made made my four inline carburettor reconditioning a whole lot easier I would well recommend these very useful for all carburettors

These go up in 0.1mm sizes, as verified by micrometer. They cleaned out my #65 main jet in the lawn mower carburettor, but would not push in against the harder varnish in there so I ended up drilling until I could see a brass chamfer.

Delivered next day. Had been having trouble tuning the carburetor on my chainsaw and suspected blocked jets. Have now been able to clean all fuel lines, jets etc using this little tool and my machine now working like clockwork! Had similar tool years ago but this one, even right down too the thinnest file, resists bending which really helps when cleaning very small ports found on chainsaw carburetors! I am very happy with the quality of the whole kit and would recommend it!
