Amazing Mazel!
This is my 4th purchase of these wedges. The 45° Square Strike “chipper” was my first. I lost it and ordered another Mazel 45° because I liked it so much. So many shots you can accomplish with it (just like a reg pitching wedge but easier). Well, it was found and turned into the pro shop, but I decided to keep the reorder (just in case). My results were so good I purchased the 7,8,9 iron set to replace my old Calloway Hawkeye VFT wedges. Next came the 60° Square Strike “Lob” wedge. I’m told no amateur should ever have a lob wedge but this works great for me on short shots around the green if I’m not going to putt instead. So now, my short game is getting pretty good (I’m a very good putter) but I’m hitting my pitching wedge too far on 50ish yd shots, having difficulty guaging/feeling the distance and of course the lob is too short a club - in my mind I needed a gab wedge that I could control without thinking too hard (was having a hard time with my husband’s 52° gap wedge) SOOOO, to make a long story short, I ordered the Mazel 55° wedge and BINGO my handicap came down one whole point in a just a couple of rounds! It’s my go to club on the 55yd shots to get the ball on the green and get my 1-2 putts down. These clubs have a heavier feel than most wedges I’ve had, and I like that a lot. My index is still kind of high but low enough to get me on St Andrew’s if I had the chance to play there again L.O.L. I’m a 78 yr old, 5’3” 132# woman, I’ve played 3x a week consistently for the past few years. I’ve had 2 knee replacements and 1 hip replacement in those years so the bod doesn’t turn like it used to, the LPGA is not knocking on my door, - but I have so much more confidence using these Mazel square strike wedges! Woman or Man, if any of this sounds familiar you should try at least one of these Mazel clubs. FYI- this Mazel 55° has also replaced my Sand Wedge!

Nice addition to the bag!
Been wanting to try a chipper for some time now and saw a review on the tube about this one. Seems like it will be good around greens and shots within 50 yards. I only gave it 4 stars due to the back of the head having a plastic insert which makes it look kinda cheap. Other than that, I do like the club and if you stand over the ball more upright and use a putter stroke, it seems to come up and off the ground quite nicely. For the price, I think it’s a good buy if you’re on the fence.

Quality club beyond my expectations!
This is a quality product! I wasn't sure how this club wold perform til I tried it today. I'm a 14 HC and always struggle to hit a consistent chip to the hole from around 20yds. Either hit fat or skull it...This club is fantastic because of the reliable bounce...I love it!...:-)

Best chipper
I had an original infomercial version but it got stolen so I ordered the Mazel 45 degree version. Even though it was the same lift it seemed to hit the ball lower. So I ordered the 55 degree version. This is the one to get. It chips just high enough to give excellent results. My friend has the 55 degree infomercial version but the sole is bigger than their 45 degree version. The Mazel 45 and 55 degree version seem to have similars sole sizes which I much prefer. They say it is hard to chunk these which I agree with. This is my main go to club around the greens. Very happy with the performance and Mazel even gives you a head cover which the other brand does not. My only request would be to replace the green grip with a regular black or grey one!

Not like's brother 45 degree
Hi I want this to be my opinion only. This 55 degree wedge does not work the ball as well as my same model club, but in a 45 degree loft. I was hoping to get a club in which the ball would not run out as far like my 45*The 55 degrees requires a much harder striking motion to find the loft. Then it to will run a distance once the ball is released on the green. Perhaps if one was to spend 8 hours and remembering the correct procedure. this club will work for you. My self I will keep my 60 Degree sand wedge in my bag for close to the edge plop shots, Oh also the grips are very hard in my hands

Ignore the negative reviews, apparently they can’t putt.
Mine was delivered on a Wednesday afternoon, I played 18 the following morning and didn’t swing it until 20 minutes before my Tee Time. I bought the 35 degree head. With very little practice, just the ability to have a decent putting stroke, I was landing shots on the green, furthest out was from 108 yards to the pin, put it within about 20 feet. I used it from 108, to 50, 30 yards out, to just off the fringe. I gained 5 strokes in my short game this round over my last ten rounds. It is about $50.00 less expensive than the Square Strike brand and all the specs are exactly the same. One round, no practice to speak of using it prior to playing, gained 5 strokes, all it takes is a good putting stroke, those negative reviews are the user not the club. Since it went that well in the first round, I only anticipate strokes gained to increase with practice and regular use. Great club better value.

Chipper wedge
When your short game is less than stellar, you’ll try anything. Price was right for this experiment

Received earlier than scheduled but did not come with head cover. My previous purchase of same with 45 & 60 loft have head covers.

Good value

Exactly as expected. Not a magic fix for bad strokes and can still blade it across the green. Works well when used correctly

I loved this Wedge, and found it easy to use from 120 mtrs out to anywhere in close, But am thinking of getting the 55 degree Mazel for the closer chips, as I find I over shoot with the 45 degree, and hope that the 55 will fix this, Overall I am very happy with this Club and would recommend it to anyone having trouble Chipping . It will improve your game no end, Great.

Good quality as advertised. Certainly helps chipping for mid to high handicappers. Need more practice to get used to distance management.
