NP99sp Battery Replacement Kit for Garmin Drive 51, Drive 51LM, Drive 51LMT-s with Tools, How-to Video, Long Life Battery

This review is for my "GARMIN DriveSmart 51-LMT-S".Once I was able to open the case replacing the battery was very simple. Along with the battery there was also a tool and video showing how to open the case and then to replace the battery.In my case the video provided with the battery showed how to open the GARMIN case but on my unit the seam that the provided tool opened the case was not the one showed in the video (see photo).

This kit contained everything I needed to easily replace the battery in my Garmin 51 Drive.The how-to video was short and simple to follow. It took about ten (10) minutes to complete the tastand gave new life to my gps unit.

The battery was relatively easy to install, tools and instructional video made the replacement easy, but it didn't last. I purchased the battery a year ago and now it won't hold a charge. I purchased in July 2022 so it did last the length of its one year warranty but no longer than that.

The order came quickly. My Garmin 51 was easy to open just as the video's show and once open the battery was simple to replace. This is the 2nd time i have used this company and both times were equally fine. I recommend them.

Easy to install and was a direct replacement. The battery life could have been better.

I needed a replacement battery for my Garmin and order this. It came in quickly and I'm sure would have done a good job but the Garmin unit would not open up. Rather than totally destroy it I just keep it charged all the time on the original battery and return this one. Not the fault of this battery but more of lack of design for the Garmin unit itself

It arrived, just like it was advertised. It was easy to open the case, remove and replace the battery, and then close the case. Took less than 30 minutes. Battery holds a charge a lot longer now.

Good battery, almost twice the original capacity. Tools provided are useful, but I used my own plastic pry bar to get the battery out. Explanations simple and clear (youtube link). Very easy to replace. For users: try to keep the initial sticky band under the battery , to secure the new one in place. There is also a copper wire between the 2 parts, making the replacement a bit more tricky. Just take your time. I recommand!

I bought this replacement newpower 99 battery 8 months ago, now it is completely dead, it doesn't hold any charge!Furthermore it cannot be charge any more, what a waste of money. A cheaper brand £20 one lasted more than a year & half!
