The tour pack disconnect did not come with instructions, but it was evident that, although this would fit with modifications on my 1989 electra glide sport, I would need to also purchase a license plate relocation bracket, a new detachable sissy bar and a new seat, because the original seat hardware cannot remain since it also has a sissy bar permanently attached. Return was allowed, minus the cost to ship it back.

Easy install took just about 15 mins.

Did not fit very well at first although I will say very sturdy from what I have on so far due to the fact that nuts and bolts were missing I hope you have better luck getting all your parts than I did! Update was contacted by support and offered a rebate to offset missing items, was nice to see them putting forth the effort will shop with them again!

Poor welds and alignment made for a very frustrating installation. Rubber bushings on docking hardware fell apart after first use. Chrome was scuffed upon arrival.

Difficult to install. Generic fit I guess. Had to use many spacers to make it work. Doesn’t fit the locking device very tightly. Loose fit. See if it’s still there when I get to Sturgis.

Decent quality worked great on my bike to make tour pack removal easy

Install was fairly easy. Went to attach the trunk mount to test fit and one of the locks on the latches snapped off. While removing other locking pin snapped off. Will have to buy me latches because the rest of the kit is installed. Pins were made out of cast metal so it didn’t take much to break them.

Perfect fit

I was looking to take the tour pack off anyway but wanted to try this quick release. Nothing quick about it. Wrestling with the tour pack and trying align the forks blindly is very cumbersome. I think even the factory Harley would be awkward. Installation was a bit of a hassle but I recommend NOT attaching the hoop to the carrier and using the carrier alone to line up the mounting points. The carrier was a bit bent and is easily adjusted. I needed all of the spacers provided. The installation instructions were a bit hard to understand but not awful. One huge complaint though. The tour pack sits lower and more forward. I used the most rear mounting holes, but it aitsyso much lower that you have to take the seat off in order to wrestle this thing on. Would NOT recommend.

Absolutely garbage,,the rivets broke and I lost my $1500 tour pack,which was empty I might add. Completely garbage product and destroyed my box,good thing no one was on the back.I should sue the seller

The chrome seems to be decent. The forward mounts don't fit into the bracket. The actual bars need to be bent to line up. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product. Better off finding a better version.
