LG Electronics 6931EL3001E Dryer High Limit Thermostat

Do yourself a favor and buy this genuine LG part. I cheaped out and bought a generic replacement here on Amazon and it lasted six months. I had to tear the dryer apart a second time and this time I went for the real deal. So far so good.

Three months ago or so our dryer quit heating and i knew right away it was the "thermostat." Most of us DIYer's know that if the cycling thermostat goes out on an LG(or any) dryer, chances are the thermal cut off was tripped and needs replaced too. So we did. However, I cheaped out and bought them both together as a package. 3 mons later I was ordering both parts again. I got them installed last night and the dryer us working better than it ever did.My only "complaint" would be that ot did not come with hardware.(2 screws) but I had kept the ones t came out originally so no biggie.OEM is always the way to go. Worth every extra penny to know it wont need changed again in 90 days. Will definitely be ordering fron this seller again!

We bought this for our LG DLE0442W dryer. It had stopped heating and this was the first part to try as it's the most common cause for the lack of heat. It worked and now I am back to doing laundry. It was easy to install and fit like a glove.

Direct replacement, worked like a charm, I would advise to change out both sensors. This was my second attempt as the first time I only changed out one. It failed again in about a week. I learned from my mistake, don't do like I did change them both cost a little more but you won't have to do it a second time.

dryer broke, no heat ohmed out this thermostat and it was opened, ordered this and got it the next day fit perfect and dryer got hot and dried the clothes...

This is the proper replacement high limit thermostat for the LG TROMM clothes dryer.It’s replacement should generally accompany the replacement of the thermal fuse LG part # 6931EL3003D.With care, a suitable magnetic flashlight-worklight, and a good quality magnetic #2 Philip’s screwdriver with a 12” long relatively slim shaft (made up of extensions) I have successfully replaced these parts through the exhaust pipe’s hole in the dryers back, with the machine lying padded on its front.

Replaced the thermostat in the dryer and kept this as a back up in case it decided to go again. This one was a secondary order to the one I bought that wasn't an original part for LG. But the knock off replacement was shipped in 1 day instead of 8 days and it was cheaper than this one as well. I will keep it in case but it has lasted 2 months so far with no issues.

Shipping was a little slow; took about a month to arrive, but product was exactly as described.

The thermostat was an LG part and fit my dryer. It solved my problem of no heat.
