This convertor arrived today. I have moved from overseas back to the US (115V) and I have a tube headphone amplifier that was purchased in a country with 220V. I considered having the transformer changed but that was expensive and time consuming. I thought I would try this approach and I am very glad I did. This convertor works perfectly and is totally silent in operation. I could not have asked for a better more affordable solution to the problem. Highly recommended.

I use this 1000 watts unit to step down from 220v to 115v and am very pleased by its performance and build quality. I will be buying a second unit for the house with even higher wattage capability.

We use these on our low wattage 220v items we sell so clients can run equipment on 110 instead of having to add a 220 line. These have been the best models we have used over the years. We have purchased over 200 of these and the quality beats every other brand on Amazon hands down!

Internally reverse wired. Most people won't notice it because hot and neutral is reversed inside. If you have an hot/neutral receptacle tester, TEST IT. It's not just my issue, other reviews have already said it. It's not even the worst, the most terrifying thing is that this product have the CE mark and RoHS etc. I have learned the certifications are jokes, and the product safety is just depends on the company, and the consumers have no choice but gotta rely on their conscience. Frustrating.

Bought this for an Australian market Orla sonatina L that had made its way to America. The electric organ is designed to run on 240 volt, 60 Hz. Us power is 120v, 60hz, so I was able to step up my houses power and get the organ working perfectly. Quite and not overly warm. Bought the 1000w model as it’s much more than I could ever need for the organ itself which uses a faction of that.

I recently moved from Italy, and brought music equipment with me. I can use my equipment without loss of audio quality.

Used it for my Cheetah MD16. Works great. A little large, but works

transformer plugged into north American delivering 220 no problem. Able to run European alliances on north American circuit. Haven't tried European powering north American yet. Been running for about two weeks not even getting very warm.
