Create your own textured papers and foils. Apply textures to embossed designs and die-cuts. Peg onto Fiskars Embossing System to stabilize plates. I can't believe how easy (and cheap!) these are to create excellent textures on card stock. Rubbing the paper with wax paper first makes the stylus tool roll over it so much more smoothly. Even without it, though, I didn't have any issues with a 65lb card stock. Since this does leave fine lines from the pressure of the stylus tool, make sure to use the backside of the paper. When you're done flip it over and VIOLA!... you've got a wonderful imprint. I love the fact that there are 12 different designs and each plate is of very sturdy plastic. I used a small piece of painter's tape to hold my paper in place since I don't have the contraption that holds the plate and paper in place. Worked perfectly. IF the painter's tape pulls a little of the paper off, it's not a big deal because it'll be on the back on the page. Review: Dissappointed - Embossing very faint. Used card stock and Cuttlebug.

Dissappointed
Embossing very faint. Used card stock and Cuttlebug.

Spend more for the embossing plates, these aren't useful
Doesn't work very well in my Sizzix machine. I rarely use them; too much trouble to get the texture onto the card.

So glad I found these!
I have both sets of these, and I love the variety of textures I can emboss onto my handmade cards. I use them with my Big Shot - just have to use and extra piece of card stock as a shim to make the texture more crisp.

Great service and product
Really like the great textures on these plates. Good for rubbings on fabric and paper. Great service - everything arrived in excellent condition and very quickly. Highly recommend.

LOVE ME SOME FISKARS
Of all the embossing plates I have pissed money away on. These are the least annoying. I'm pleased they are easy to use. After wasting money on a huge embossing machine that was crap. These were easier to handle overall. Even if I do have to do the embossing by hand. A good multi set of embossing tools and your able to easily create beautiful work with these. 10/10 would buy Fiskars plates again.
