Great Camera for Security Surveillance and Real Nice Picture Quality
UPDATE: January 30, 2015I've been using this camera for 6 months now and it has performed very well. Despite living out in the country I have not had any issues with connectivity and receive images quickly when the camera is tripped. As I mentioned in my initial review I use this camera for security purposes and it is amazing the activity I get at my house (I have an 800' driveway to the house).Back to the camera -- very easy to change settings from your phone, good quality pictures. I receive pictures as a text message when the camera is tripped and the pictures are uploaded to a Bushnell host and saved. You can access your images on the host via your Bushnell account. I've been using the 1,000 images at $9.99 per month and found it to be adequate for my needs. I have it set to take two pictures every time it's tripped.I've noticed the price has dropped quite a bit since my purchase -- I think I will be purchasing another one by summer.---------------------------------------------------I've been using this camera for security purposes for a month now and it's great! We live in the country and had a break-in (our first ever). Our house is 800' off the road -- I use this camera to monitor vehicles that drive up to our house. It's hidden and I'm able to get the front, side and rear pictures (nice license plate picture) of any vehicle that reaches the house (all are sent to my phone within seconds as a text). This camera has the ability to take 1-3 rapid pictures and are sent within a few seconds to my iPhone as a text. The pictures are also saved on your account you create with Bushnell and the SD Memory Card in the camera. Note: the pictures sent to your phone and the Bushnell site are low-res for obvious reasons, however, the SD Memory Card are hi-res (the quality of the pictures are great). If your setup and use is where you can't get to the SD Memory Card right away and you want a hi-res image you can purchase hi-res images through your Bushnell account website and get it right away (they call it Hi-Resolution Credit Images - they have two packages, 10-Images for $7.99 and 25-Images for $16.99).A quick look at the Pros and Cons as I see them....ProsVery easy to set-up - 10-15 minutesPicture quality can be set to 3mp, 5mp and 8mpPicture captures per trigger - 1, 2 or 3Delay interval between pictures taken - 1 sec to 60 minEach picture has a timestampSupports up to a 32GB SD Card, with overwriting - if you wantSupports video - have not tried it yetPictures can be sent via Text, Email or a SmartPhone AppPicture quality is greatLow monthly, no commitment feesThere are many more options - these are my top choicesConsThe only problem I've had was when we had a real hard rain the lens fogged up, then dried out (it was a very hard rain!).When I purchased this camera Bushnell did not offer a metal security box. I was able to get real nice metal security box from CAMLOCKBOX.COM.------------------------------Some final notes...I have my camera locked in a metal security box -- going to be tough to steal, if someone tries I should get some good pictures. You get a free 30-day trial from Bushnell to capture/send 2000 pictures. After the trial you can purchase 1000 pictures per month for $9.99, 2000 pictures per month for $19.99 up to 10,000 pictures per month for $59.99.There is no commitment, you can start/stop at any time - the service is through Bushnell who in turn uses AT&T.

Works and transmits well-see photo below
I and my friends search for lost dogs and return them to their owners. Some dogs are lost and out on their own for several weeks, most are lost for many months. In cold and hot weather, we have to check the dog traps every 2 hours because we will not have the dog in a trap longer than that even though the traps have coverings. With this camera, we know right away when a dog goes into the trap so we only have to check and replenish the trap twice a day and we can get to a trapped dog very quickly. We also know if another critter has been caught so we can go out and release it right away. This camera has helped us very much. It is reliable, even in rural areas. The pictures that are recorded to the SD card are very clear and the transmitted photos are quite clear enough. The data plan for 2,000 transmitted photos a month is very reasonable at $19.99 and the first month is free. The photos transmitted to your email and/or phone (it will send to both) are surprisingly clear. Not as clear as the same photo you retrieve from the camera card, but still quite clear. Bushnell stores the transmitted photos to a web site account accessed with your email and password. The photo below was sent to my phone. I have had zero connectivity problems in rural areas in Pennsylvania.UPDATE: 5 months after purchase this camera still works like a champ. I receive pictures a minute after they are taken. The daylight photos are very clear and detailed. The nightime pictures are in shades of gray and black and not as detailed, but you can still clearly see the critter and what it is doing. I plan on buying another one of these.2nd UPDATE: well, it worked great until it suddenly stopped taking pictures. It was on the same tree, in the same position as it always had been. The batteries were new lithium energizers and the card was the same SD card that had been in the camera all along. Absolutely nothing had changed with the camera when it stopped taking and sending photographs. It was very strange. I had bought the extended warranty for the camera so I shipped it back to Bushnell for repair. They sent me a new wireless camera, the HD Aggressor. I have only had it up for a couple of days so I cannot comment on it yet. But I had to buy a new security box since the box I had did not fit the Aggressor. The original camera worked great until it suddenly didn't.
