131763256 Washer Door Lock Assembly (Replaces 131763255) Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

Like other reviewers, i bought the cheap $25 part and in 3 months it was already causing problems again, not draining, stopping multiple times. Bought the OEM, have had it for a few days but have done lots of laundry and other than the first time (maybe I didn’t shut the door right) it’s worked perfectly fine. Stuffed the washer to see if it would push the door open slightly to stop it (which is what was happening with the cheap one) and it did not stop at all. Highly recommend. (UPDATE) This has done the trick. A few weeks later, stuffed the washer with blankets, jeans and door stays locked.

After pulling out my sparse hairs trying to figure out why my front-loading Whirlpool washer was pausing repeatedly on every cycle, not spinning up, and leaving my loads soaking wet, I changed this part and the door latch. PRESTO! Works like a charm ;-)

I bought this after trying a cheaper knockoff part for my Frigidaire washer. The knockoff part made a horrible smell and the door didn’t lock properly. I returned it and got this OEM and now everything is working normally again.

This is an original part. I returned it, however, because the door gasket on my washer was glued on (not spring-clamped), so I was unable to complete the replacement. Fortunately, simply replacing the striker fixed my issue.

Easy to install through the front. High quality switch, should get me another twenty years of service.

I originally bought a knock-off Frigidaire door lock that had good reviews. I had several issues with the knock off though, and purchased this OEM Frigidaire one. Even the packaging was OEM Electrolux/Frigidaire. This item fit perfectly and worked just like new. This may be a $5-20 more than the knock-off units, but it is well worth it. This is an easy fix to a door lock failure, if you watch the youtube videos.

Saved us $320 dollars! Was easy to install. Only took about 10 minutes.

Working great. Tried the cheaper one and it failed after one day.

I originally bought a knock off which looked identical, but after installing and running a cycle, it had a burning electrical smell. Not worth it. Worth the extra money for the OEM part and this is well price compared to some other places to purchase. Delivered very quickly as well
