The sizing is perfect. I appreciate that the listing has a diagram of how the sizing should fit so you order what you are looking for. I ordered the 80x60, 30lbs for a Queen bed. It hangs over the edges perfectly so that the weight can be distributed evenly across both you and partner (the other “queen” size one I had from a different brand only covered the top of the bed so it just *kind of* did what it claimed). The stitching evenly distributes weight. And the fabric?! It’s amazing! The softer side is so plush and soft, and the cooling side is so smooth and feels luxurious. This is definitely the best weighted blanket out there and I highly recommend it!

Pros: - I love this blanket so much! - It's really soft on both sides. - It's not lumpy, I have to purposely pinch it to feel the individual glass beads. - The weight distribution is very even. - I'm a warm sleeper, but haven't had any temperature issues with it. I've even been using it in addition to my other blankets so far without getting too warm. - It comes in a reusable storage bag with handles which helps a lot since it's so heavy. - It's improved my sleep significantly! - It's so heavy that my dog doesn't try to chew it (he's found comforters to be a fun chew toy in the past). - The shiny side is quite resistant to dog hair, the bed isn't a mess after he takes a nap. - It's decreased my tossing and turning significantly!Cons: - I have zero interest in ever sleeping without it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to travel with an extra 45lbs in my luggage for the rest of the life.Notes: - If you want it to hang over the edges of the bed, I'd go up a size. I have a Queen size bed, but got the King and it allows for a large amount of overhang on the sides and end of the bed.

I have slept with a weighted blanket for myself for many years now. Its a joke around our house that I can’t sleep unless I have this punk weighted blanket. But recently my husband had been I’ll and I covered him up with it and he was hooked. He couldn’t believe the difference in the nights sleep he got. So I ordered the king size 45 lbs thinking spread over the two of us would be just right. I was shocked. No more bringing my old pink one to bed anymore - I have this grey one on at all times now and we get into bed together and snuggle more because we are both equally covered vi should have bought this bigger one sooner!

This blanket has cured my husband's restless legs at night! He always used to wake me up moving around, and I was exhausted every day. We are both under 140lbs, and got the 30lb blanket, but wish it was maybe a little heavier. We put another heavy-ish blanket of our own on top to compensate. We also got the king size instead of queen (we have a queen bed), as the queen just barely fit over top and did not cover us properly if we were sleeping near the edge of the bed. Highly recommend, though, this will change your sleep :)

Pros:1. Fabric isn’t like the usual velour weighted blankets.2. Size: I got a king size for my Cal King bed and it’s almost too big. It covers both of us.3. You can choose what size you want.4. It’s thin, not bulky. You could even use it as a quilt. We put it under our comforter.5. You will NOT need to sleep with the heater on.Cons:1. The bigger you go, the less weight is actually on you so size down or go up on weight.2. The navy blue one is white on the other side.

I purchased the queen size, 30lb version of this blanket for my partner's birthday. When it arrived, I could not believe how heavy it was (the included carry case is not only a wonderful touch, it is actually necessary to move this thing from place to place). I read a bunch of articles on the proper weight to get, the risks and benefits, blahblahblah, and most indicated that, for our combined body weight (350lbs), this is a bit too heavy. But the customer reviews of blankets of this size were, for the most part, largely in favor of ignoring those articles, so I decided to just go with it and, if it proved too heavy, the gift could still be received as it was intended (with love and thoughtfulness), and that we didn't ever need to use it if it came down to that. The first night, when I first settled myself underneath it, I had a moment of panic at the weight of it. I felt trapped. But the gift was not for me, so I just wriggled my foot out the side and felt suddenly better. Within ten minutes, I didn't want to move. Which is the danger. When I walk past the bedroom to my office, I see this beautiful blanket and want to immediately crawl under it. If I don't set several alarms, I will readily turn off the one and go back to sleep. I look forward every day to crawling underneath its comforting weight. I am hopelessly in love with this blanket. In terms of construction, the blanket's sides each serve a different purpose. I've only been using it for a few weeks, so I haven't had much cause to use the "cooling" side, though at a touch I don't doubt that it is effective (and beautiful). I've been using the plush side to sleep under, and it warms without overheating. Because of the regular pouches of little glass beads (which provide it with its weight), and because of the bamboo-rayon fabric (which is fabulous, both more absorbent and more breathable than cotton), I dare not put it in the washing machine except in dire need, so I make sure to have a sheet between it and myself. Frankly, however, if it comes down to a need for heavy laundering -- I will take the risk and, if the blanket becomes damaged, and if I can't just throw a stitch or two into it to reseal the bead pouch that may come loose, I will consider this blanket to have been worth every cent. A few quick real-deal warnings: this blanket is, in fact, heavy. You cannot just throw it on the bed and call it a day. You will have to move around to lay it out, and when you are sleeping, you can't just roll over in your sleep and expect the blanket to roll with you. For those of you with blanket-steeling partners, this actually proves to be a major benefit (as does the added width they've given this blanket so that it hangs a good bit over the edges of the bed), and I find I do a lot less tossing and turning when I use this blanket. But still, it's something to consider. Some notes on appearances: the blanket's sides are a light and dark gray, respectively, one rather shiny and lovely, the other soft and inviting. I purchased a grey silk pillowcase for my partner as well, and because of the duo-tone-grey design of the blanket, the pillowcase was an easy and perfect match for the blanket. Also, if you intend to surprise somebody with this blanket, make sure you lay it out a good 30-60 minutes before they're to discover it -- it gets a touch crinkled in the carry-bag. However, because of the lovely weight of it, once it's stretched over the bed it is almost self-smoothing. You can press it smooth with your hands and then if you leave it it basically takes care of its own smoothing.

This blanket is wonderful. Large enough for a Cal King. soft and evenly weighted. the only reason I did not give it a 5 was because when it arrived it was half out of then carrying bag because it was too big for it. That was a bit disconcerting. otherwise we love it.

I got the king so it hangs over the side of the bed, I also purchased a Duvet and so far so GREAT!

Ordered the 40 lb weighted blanket. Recommend for larger weight individuals however I didn’t listen and got it anyways. I highly recommend this, It make you melt into your bed like your in heaven! My wife finds it hard to sleep and she passed out so fast and had the most amazing sleep. 12 out 10 in our opinion.

Bought this for my parents for Christmas as my moms always complaining shes tossing throughout the night. When they received it, they asked me if i was trying to smother them in their sleep (it was “so”heavy) - Queen size - 30 pounds - But The morning after they tried it out for the first time they called me to thank you! J’ai pris la couverture de 30 livres selon les conseils mais j’aurais préféré 20 ou 25 livres car très lourd et de la tirer pour la placer demande un gros effort. J’ai même eu de la difficulté à l’étendre sur mon lit queen. Par contre, la texture côté soyeux et côté doudou est géniale. La pesanteur, un coup placer, est aussi très apaisante.

Didn’t look like the ad picture at all BUT it’s very comfortable.I got the king size 35 pound one and I feel I sleep so much better withthe weight. My wife didn’t like it so I have it folded over to get all theweight of the blanket for mysel.

Quality seems good, very soft, nice and heavy, great overall feeling. Will see for durability. Love the two sides.A few points:- Not washable, so should plan to put in some sort of cover.- Queen size covers the whole bed, but doesn't overlap very much. (fine by me, I checked dimensions first). Still, larger than most other cheaper brands, and available in king size too.- Glass beads seem unevenly distributed. Some 'pockets' contain a lot, some very little. However, I did weigh it and it's correct (ordered the 30lbs). This is not noticeable on you, just when touching with hands.Overall, quite satisfied!
