With new more affordable wireless Lavalier microphone options, it seems like this is necessary for connecting to a mixer. I plugged in my road, wireless pro receiver, into one end, and the XLR's into separate inputs of my mixer, and it worked perfectly well for splitting the channels and recording them separately. The cables are put together nicely. It seems pretty durable and it works well. The only thing I think is that if you're using this to split a signal into a mixer for location, audio or a similar scenario, then you may want something with shorter tables. These are pretty long, but you have to wrap them up if they're all going in one bag for location audio.

This cable provides a clear connection from the unbalanced 3.5mm stereo output found on most computers, TVs, many phones, and other consumer-level audio devices to the balanced XLR inputs found on many studio monitors and other high level and professional audio sources. The cable can be easily separated all the way to the 3.5mm if needed to span the distance between your left and right speakers. I used it to connect the 3.5mm stereo output from an Audioquest Dragonfly USB DAC to a pair of JBL professional 305p mkii powered monitors. You could also make a connection directly from your computer's 3.5mm output jack as well, although the sound quality from the Dragonfly or other DAC will be significantly better. I didn't want to invest in a separate audio interface for my home studio, and this cable was an inexpensive and quality solution. The connect is noise free and sounds fantastic through the JBls. Caveat: Make sure you check the right (red or "ring") and left (white or "tip) markings. My cable (and a few other reviewers') were reversed. No big deal, just attach the red to your left and white to your right if your cable ends up being that way. Highly recommended.

For the price Not expect to much for the quality but its oki.

I'm using this cable with my DJI Mic 2 connected to my RØDECaster, and it works exactly as I need it to. The connection is reliable, the audio signal is clean, and I haven't experienced any issues with dropouts or interference. It was a simple solution for integrating my equipment, and I'm happy with how it performs in my setup. If you're looking for a cable to connect similar audio gear, this one has done the job well for me.

Bought this cable to hook up to the rode wireless pro system to my zoom F6 recorder, haven't had the cable too long but it seems to do it's job although the quality is not super high sometimes the 3.5mm side comes loose which worries me about the long term use of this product. Yes it does what it's supposed to and the colour coding on the XLR cables is nice to know which is left and right. I keep it in my orca bag most of the time so I hope it lasts awhile. Does it's job but the quality is not the best
