I added two fuel can mounts to the rear rack on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler, the lashing straps that came with it were thin crap with funky buckles that didn't stay tight, I wanted some strong hefty straps for off road use, ones that would cinch down tight, these Keeper straps fit the bill and worked great, they are 1.50 inch wide where most were only 1 inch wide, the locking mechanisms are of good quality and the anti scratch pads keep the latches from scratching up my fuel and water cans. Plus they were actually less money than a lot of crappy ones. Nice to see something made thats still of good quality. They are made in china but to Keepers specifications.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been kayaking for about 15 years and have used lots of lashing straps during that time. They make transporting yaks easy and safe, and I love them. I especially love these lashing straps, partly because they are wider than most which adds strength to their load bearing abilities. I also love the protective cover that surrounds the metal buckles. It offers great protection for the surface of your car and/or boat. The cover also folds back easily to provide access to the buckle when you're ready to run the strap end through. The webbing material of the strap is nice and thick and very tough. Bottom line, these may cost a few bucks more than cheaper, thinner straps, but the small difference is worth it - these are wider and stronger and they provide excellent protection from scratching. Definitely recommended.

I use these to lash my Kayak to my roof-top racks. They are amazing! Absolutely the best lashing straps I have ever had. I have paid twice the price for others that were not nearly as good. The buckles are really strong and don't allow the strap to slip back. There's no need to knot them to stop slippage. Knotting causes straps to abrade and wear out. I will never buy straps from any other company. The quality is so good that I may never need to buy new ones!

I used this to hold my bee hive boxes together. It stays outside year round so I like that it has a protective sleeve over the mechanism . The sleeve also protects my hives from getting scratched up. The sleeve is cushioned and I did by extras if I need one for my paddle board I would trust it to not mar my board also

I bought four of these to lash a carrier to the rack on my Jeep. And let me tell you-- these things are strong! We were driving 80 on interstate 15 when the cargo carrier ripped right off the roof!The lashing was still in place holding the carrier brackets! The carriers' plastic had failed but those straps are forever!............in fact they are stillwrapped around my cargo rack lol

The straps themselves are built solid and look like they will work well.The application is permanently on a vehicle with everything else black, so the pictured color was ideal.Amazon sent a black/blue product, which was a disappointment but should still work, since i needed them right away.

If you are not using these you need to up your game 1.5” is the best. Great product. I received blue.

Very nice straps at less than half the cost of my Rhinos, also wider and stronger. My only criticism would be the neoprene cam tender; it is a little too small so over time it will fail through wear even with extra special care in threading the strap through that assembly.

These work quite well I can strap up to two paddle boards on my roof no problem
