Use it every day
I use this pan every day and really like it. It feels a bit heavier than it looks, but not nearly as weighty as cast iron. Mine functions perfectly on my propane stove top, heats evenly and retains heat. I have used it a few times on a propane grill, but never over a campfire. I really like the one-piece construction because the handle never needs to be re-tightened. Will it really last multiple generations? I may never know, but if feels like it will. The main reason for buying it is that stainless steel is my preferred, healthy cookware material, especially nickel-free steel. I've owned a number of stainless-steel "clad" pans, and they work well enough, but the handles need to be tightened periodically. This pan is now my favorite.

A new favorite in the game ...
Matched with a 1Kw Elite Gourmet ESB-301BF single burner, this has quickly become my goto cooking platform for the majority of the mundane, everyday cooking for one or two. It's heavy base, fitting perfectly on the burner's 6 inch cast iron element, provides a reliable, steady heat at all 'normal' temps. I have not, nor do I plan to, subjected this pan to temps more suited to French steel or cast iron cookware. Why chance ruining something so useful? Highly recommended.

Great addition to my cookware
I really like cooking with this pan. You need to turn down the heat, never use more than medium heat setting or your food will stick. It cooks much more evenly than any other pan I own. The 8” is just the right size and I like that there are no rivets for food to get stuck in.

My go to pan
This is my new go to pan. I splurged and bought both the 8 inch and 11 inch), but this is my favorite due to its handy size. I seasoned it properly before using and after deep cleaning, and sticking is minimized. This pan is heavy duty and the quality of manufacturing is apparent in the product, worth every penny in my opinion!

abysmal heat distribution
I should have done more research before buying. Maybe then i would have noticed the little things that seemed off like not allowing comments on their Youtube videos or that the nöni series cant have the advertised features due to the used materials. But about the product itself. The material is thick and the one piece construction is nice. The handle stays cold even after 10min of cooking. I mean cold to the touch and not just cold enough to touch it with your hands. The used steel is most likely just 18/0 steel or something similar because otherwise the skillet wouldnt work with induction stove tops. That means the heat distribution is really bad. When i cook with liquids i clearly see it bubbling in the shape of a donut where my induction coil is. That means you can use the pan only for very watery food like soups or boiling stuff. Even frying stuff is a bit limited because you can preheat the pan but after the food is in the skillet the heat distribution becomes uneven again. All that is probably less of a problem on a gas stove top but not so much with induction.Overall the general idea behind the product is nice and works with their ION skillets (which i ordered too) but not so much for the nöni ones. But the product is way overpriced. For quite a bit less money i can get a top of the line skillet like the De Meyere pro line skillet. The really sad part is i cant even return the pan with the original shipping costs and taxes (75$) plus the insane return costs (over 60$ alone) it would be like throwing good money after bad money.

I consider this the one pan to do it all.
I Find my self using this way more often than my other carbon steel pans. This has a high side wall which I always look for in a pan. It’s easier to maintain and dishwasher friendly! Try that on your carbon steel pans.It HEATS up fast and has no nickel content.Thank you MJH for being part of our every meal!!!
