Mixer was purchased sometime in1995..still runs like charm..will the cap and screw fit a model this old ?

My Kitchenaid mixer has a tilt head instead of a lift bowl. Will this fit my machine? I ordered a similar knob from another seller and it didn't fit.

Will this fit on the model K45Ss

I have an older model KSM5PSWW and that fits perfectly. When I was looking for cap hub online I couldn't find anything compatible with my model but I took a chance with this one and it works. Good Luck

Fits great on 25 year old KA tilt head mixer!!!

My 26 year old Kitchen Aid stand mixer has been through it!! I love using the tilt head for attachments but after 4 moves the cap got lost and only has the screw part. I got tired of using just the screw so read the reviews for this piece. Not only was it inexpensive but reviews were good too. Just arrived today and who hoo!!! It fits great++ Thanks so much!! Now I know where to go for KA parts!! thank you!
