Avantree [2020 New] AS9PA aptX Low Latency Bluetooth 5.0 Over Ear Headphones for Computer TV Watching, Class 1 Long Range Wireless Wired Hi-FI Stereo Headset with Mic for PC Laptop Cell Phones Call

I have trouble understanding the dialog on TV. I purchased the Audition Procast 5.0 and paired it with the Audikast Plus 5.0 transmitter; with this combination I was able to hear again. The sound is crisp with no lag in transmission time. The headphones are comfortable and the battery life is more than adequate for my use. The sound is very good and I am pleased with the results. I am not sure how the headphones will operate with a transmitter which is not 5.0 but I know that it is excellent with the 5.0 low latency.

I got this to replace my wired headphones for watching TV to hear voices well and eliminate the lip-sync problem with "regular" Bluetooth (BT) headphones. Careful comparison with wired vs BT low-latency (LL) headphones shows only a barely noticeable lag by BT LL. I also compared with an RF headphone system which appears to be even lower latency, but I wanted the ability of BT connectivity to various BT devices. This headphone does not have the music sound quality that my other, many, headphones have, which makes it great for hearing the voices in movies/video, especially when the speakers are whispering. So for this purpose, it's great. I wish the on-off switch was more convenient.

This is my 2nd pair. I got this set for my girlfriend so we can watch tv together. We got these because I live in a small apt and try to keep the noise down with thin walls. They work perfectly.

We bought two of the Avantree wireless headphones along with the transmitter. It took us rounds and rounds of customer service emails and calls to finally get it set-up. After it was set-up, it works fine, but the whole process is extremely frustrating, a waste of time, and probably avoidable.Initially, on my own, I was able to get both headphones to pair with the transmitter, but low-latency would not function, so there was tons of lip sync delay. After a round of customer service exchange, we got the lip sync issue to go away, but only one set of headphones would work at a time. The main issue with all this is that the user feedback on how to set things up properly is terribly frustrating. You have to identify the color and blinking frequency of a single LED light on the headphone (Is it red, blue, green or white? Is it solid, blinking slowly, or blinking rapidly?), paired with some audio cues (instead of visual) over both the Transmitter and headphones, to interpret what the headphone is doing and whether you are in the right step in a long set-up sequence. At the end of the day, what solved the problem (after yet another exchange with customer service, this time on the phone instead of email) is to IGNORE the written instructions provided entirely.For context, the instructions lead you to believe that, if you want to pair multiple headphones to the Transmitter, you will need to set one of the two headphones into its Broadcast Mode. Do not follow the instructions. You can actually simply pair two headphones directly to the Avantree Transmitter without the hassle of the Broadcast Mode by following along the blinking lights.I don't fully understand the design decision to have so few buttons for input (press a certain button quickly, versus holding the button down, versus holding two buttons down are needed to perform different functions) or so few signals for feedback (the single multicolor, blinking LED light) is to try to be elegant or cost saving. What I can say is that the user interface design is extremely un-user-friendly. It's basically the antithesis of an Apple consumer electronic product. This would be a five star product otherwise.If you only need to pair one headphone with your TV, this product is fine. If you want to pair two headphones at the same time, get ready for some frustrating times ahead.To be fair, their customer service got back to me immediately each time and do have the best intention to help. The English level of their agents are also very good. Also, once the set-up is done, the product is good as advertised. The audio quality is good, there is no lip sync delay, and the fit of the headphones are comfortable.

I enjoyed the quality of the sound from the headphones, but I was expecting a microphone since the description mentioned that they could broadcast. I must have misread the description after I searched for Bluetooth headphones with microphone. I returned them because they had not microphone, but it was a quality product.

I actually ended up returning these but only because I preferred another headset that had a noise cancellation feature. These actually had better audio quality than the ones I am using. Initially had an issue when pairing this headset with the Avantree Oasis Tx/Rx but this was due to the broadcast mode of the headset which needed to be turned off. Avantree customer support is great.

PAID A LOT FOR THESE BUT AS USUAL, THE CHARGER PORT IS NOT HOLDING THE CHARGER PLUG TIP SO WILL NOT CHARGE! ONLY ISSUE WITH THESE AND EVERY HEADPHONE I HAVE BOUGHT. WHAT A RIP OFF, DO NOT BUY!! WILL ONLY WORK FOR A SHORT WHILE (LESS THAN A YEAR!!) NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PAY.

After having these for almost a month now and multiple attempts to rectify the situation with Avantree it us time to leave a review. If you are hearing impaired and need these to be able to hear your tv, DON'T BOTHER. The volume won't go high enough even though I can turn my tv up enough without them, with them and the tv all the way up and the headphones all the way up I can barely hear over them. I repeatedly contacted the company and all I got was like in so many words. Are you sure you know how to work them. When I assure them I did they stopped contacting me, 3x. Still don't know if defective or what. Even bought a BT transmitter. No difference. Very unhappy with product and customer service. Btw, the is a new high end Samsung so that's not it.FOLLOW-UPAfter contantacting Avantree about the problem. Their CS department was very helpful. When this model couldn't perform the job I purchased them to do they worked closely with me to solve the problem. Therefore I change my rating to 4.5. I only reserve the .5 because in my opinion the limitations of the model I purchased wasn't made clear in the description.

Generally satisfied after a month of use. They work well and although pairing sometimes spotty deleting the connection and then reestablishing it solves the problem. Battery life is good but they are slow to charge. It has taken a while to get the location of controls figured out without taking the headset off. All in all they do what I want.

Ich habe jahrelang mit meinen drahtlosen Kopfhörern von Apple Fernsehen geschaut, wenn meine Frau sich schon zum Schlaf umgedreht hatte. Mir gefiel nicht mehr, dass ich über das Apple-Produkt die Lautstärke und Tonqualität an meinem Samsung-TV nicht regeln konnte. Deshalb sollte es nun ein hochwertiger eigener TV-Bluetooth-Kopfhörer sein. Ich hatte schon wieder Geräte für 400 € im Auge, da empfahl mir ein guter Freund den Avantree AS9PA. Den könne man an fast jeden TV anschließen und habe dank einer eigenen Transmitter-Box etliche Einstellmöglichkeiten. Ich dachte mir: "Was soll's. Das Gerät wurde mir im Schnellkauf für knapp 50 € angeboten und ich schlug zu". Was soll ich sagen ... nachdem ich den Kopfhörer mit meinem Samsung-TV koppelte, hatte ich auch ohne diese Transmitter-Box jegliche Einstell-Optionen zur Verfügung, die in der Beschreibung versprochen wurden. Eine Ladung mit einem vollen Akku lässt mich nun 15 Stunden kabellos fernsehhören und ich kann alles Mögliche einstellen. Das Besondere daran: Ich habe sage und schreibe 350 € zu meinem Wunsch-Sennheiser-Kopfhörer gespart, der längst nicht das bietet, was dieser unbekannte Avantree AS9PA in der Realität mit bester Klangqualität leistet. Ein tolles Schnäppchen.

Lo uso para escuchar la televisión. Recibo la señal por bluetoth y no tiene retardo. Buena calidad de sonido. El diseño parece un poco antiguo, pero se adapta bien a la cabeza, recoge toda la oreja dentro y puedes estar mucho rato sin que te moleste. No lleva reductor de ruido pero aisla muy bien del exterior.

Fantastic quality sound with no delay so ideal for using whilst watching TV. Light and comfortable and pair effortlessly and automatically with the Avantree class 5 Bluetooth transmitter (highly recommended if you’re buying these headphones). Great battery life. Good wireless range over 80 feet. What’s not to like?
