Burfam Air conditioner window vent kit for universal size windows, transparent, good looking and simple to fit, windows up to 1250mm x 1050mm any shape, opening out or inwards.

So this turned out to very much be an arts and crafts project; not that I especially minded! The biggest issue was that my tools are quite limited, so I had to make do with some household scissors and a bit of improvisation... A few solid hours of cutting and shaping later, and I had an airlock perfectly fitted to my window! Much, much more effective than some stupid flimsy cloth... Though the weather's cooled down for the time being, I actively look forward to the next hot spell- can't wait to properly put the aircon through its paces, now that it's all sealed and configured and ready to go!Minor gripe; there were no instructions at all included with my package, and the adhesive oval insert for the exhaust was not quite as universal as advertised. My hose was a centimetre or two girthier; I ended up having to cut the hole slightly bigger by hand. This thing is very thick and sturdy plastic so it was bloody hard work without a dremel! Despite this, would still recommend.

The only template in the box was the oval one, the square ended one is missing and this is the one I needed, tried contacting seller but got no reply, hence 1*.Update: Ordered a standard size oval adapter end but the ovel template was way to big.Seller has sent me the missing square part but it was to small so I had to cut out about 1cm around the inner edge to get the square adapter end to fit.Finaly got it fitted works well, liking the neat finish, but can only give 3* because templates seem to be wrong sizes for UK Vent adapter ends

Read the instructions it before using it says :Use the scissors supplied to cut the sheet ....... there are no scissors supplied and you would need industrial shears not household scissors. Even a new Stanley knife won't go through this material.Velcro tape , a screwed up mess all tangled together and thrown in the box , when unravelled the hook side is just big enough for 1 window at 560x900 , the " fluffy" side wouldn't even get half way round that . So a sheet large enough for 2 windows but a kit that won't let you install on one. Not what I would expect at this price.Edit to add : Now reduced to a one start product. After 3 weeks use we needed to peel back the window kit slightly to clean the opening sash. The polycarbonate sheet split across the opening for the vent tube. This is not suitable material for use where opening will be required.

I was using a fabric airlock on the window, but my house cats were getting out (they only ever been indoor cats). This has put an end to them getting out as it can be cut to fit the window and OMG this is so much better it keeps the heat out and the cold air in much butter as there is no gaps in the window at all now. Did have to get an A4 piece of perspex as the vent cutouts that came with it were too big for our outlet from our air con but was an easy fix with my Dremel and some clear tape we got. Overall this is a much cleaner and easier airlock to have as it's clear it can be left on window all the time even when not using the Air Con.

This product looks nice in the ad photos, but when you receive it, it looks like the photo and has a missing part, one of the pre-cut edges that they show in the ad photos is missing, and the other I receive is too big for my hose. Totally a waste of money; I am so so disappointed.

Easy to fit. No messy pieces of cloth. Fantastic seal around the window. It can be removed easily when not needed.Customer service is excellent and they will go above and beyond to assist you with fitting should you need it.

I live in a converted attic flat. Perfect view , quiet etc but so uncomfortable in hot weather.This air conditioner is perfect for what can be very hot and humid summer months.

Excellent. Works great. Easy to put together. Bit pricey, but when I’m sat in a 22 degree room whilst it is 36 degrees outside, it is all worth it..
