This was installed with no issues
I had to look for a pump during the pandemic and it was t easy to find. Took a chance with this and I don’t regret it. Works great.

Junk pump - Failed in less than one year
Cast iron pump worked fine for a while, but didn't even last one year, roughly 11 months. It's supposed to have a two year warranty, but wondering if I should even bother with it considering you pay for return shipping etc. Sometimes you buy junk, and WaterAce are the ones making it. I will update my review only if I am not required to pay for their failures and they ship me a new one, even then I still don't trust it the cast iron part is literally loose now... I have a real problem paying for bad designs, but then again I will go with a real brand next time. I should blame myself for not buying from a more reputable manufacturer, don't make the mistake I did and don't give WaterAce a chance, trash pumps, I had no blockages and took it apart and yet it still doesn't move water.

So Far So Good. Working perfectly
I have an 8" deep, 4'x6' recess in basement floor under front porch. Rain water gets past block water proofing and seeps into this recess. Never gets more than 5 inches deep but takes days to recede. Dug a pit in center and formed and concreted the bottom and walls. Set this pump in the pit, adjusted the float, ran 1-1/2" pvc pipe from pump to and through garage door. Tested and it worked perfectly. Removed water very quickly and shut off. Had read where this type of pump ,"pedestal", could be noisy. This pump makes almost no noise at all. Very quiet. I'm happy. Hope it holds up.

Poorly designed or built pump. Lasted less than 1 month
Pump looked good and was fairly easy to install and operated fine for about 3 weeks, although only operated a few times, as we didn’t have much rain during that time. Found it just buzzing & pumping no water & noticed a lot of brown rust on the lower bearing housing, probably caused by water. Pump would not start but buzzed indicating locked pump or bad start capacitor. I checked casing to verify no trash & noted impeller was very hard to turn seeming to indicated tight bearings. Returned pump for a refund. Would not recommend this Water Ace pimp.

Great value for the money
My old sump pump went out and this was a great replacement, especially considering all our local hardware stores were completely out of stock of pedestal pumps. Having it delivered within two days was also very convenient. Overall, it’s pretty quiet but you can hear a dull hum when it operates. Pretty normal however, and it does seem to be a least a little quieter than my last pump.

Plastic impeller died quickly
We bought and installed this sump pump 2 years ago. It replaced a similar model that had run for at least 15 years without incident. This pump ran without incident until a few days ago when the plastic impeller broker. To be fair, a sump pump needs routine maintenance or it can degrade, and we didn't do that maintenance. So is the fault ours or the manufacturer's? It's ours. But plastic doesn't hold up in our environment and that's why I'm writing this review:If you live in a high water table with heavy sediment in your drain, any plastic parts will fail quickly without regular maintenance. We had to shovel out a foot of silt and sand last night but the pump had already broken. I plan to replace with an effluent pump which is better suited for heavy sediment management. This pump might be fine for a suburban home with a nice French drain off the lawn, but it can't handle the materials that drain in from a high water table in clay and sand. Understand your setup before choosing a sump pump. If your sump basin stays pretty clean, this pump will probably be fine for you. But only two years for us? Surprising and disappointing.
