Update: This company definitely made good on sending me a PERFECT light stand. No cracks and the light does not wobble. Changing to five stars that they deserve. Straight out of the box the wood is splitting down the middle in half. The light is wobbly. Poor quality wood. Looks nice and the brightness of the light is good, but I won't buy it again from this company. The wood should have been better quality for this price.

This is a beautiful addition to my carnivorous plant terrarium. The light is bright (I got the 9w) and the plants are growing like mad...even the 5 different kinds of moss that I stuffed in there. The terrarium also houses air plants, which also seem to love the environment. Easy to put together, and stylish. I give it 5 stars but would like to add that I wish it had a couple of improvements: 1. That it had a dimmer, so I can simulate sunrise and sunset. (Yes, I am that obsessive about my plants) 2. That the screw that attaches the gooseneck to the base was longer. The gooseneck does wiggle a bit due to the heaviness of the lamp, so if you are going to move your plants a lot, this might be an issue. Again, the pros far outweigh the cons, and I will be buying another one for the next installation. Thanks for a great product!

We have purchased this light twice. The first one lasted a year. The second one only lasted six months. It’s a nice light, but it should last longer as it’s LED! Very poor quality at this price.

Just got this late this morning. Easy to unboxed and assemble. I got the 5 W version as this particular terrarium is small. It works perfectly and looks very stylish and pretty with my terrarium. I liked this one so much that I bought a larger nine white version for another terrarium. I do wish that there were more options for the lighting rather than just a on off switch. A timer function at minimum would be helpful. However, I am planning on just attaching mine to a timer.

I purchased the Hiro light for my daughter’s betta tank project with the hope the full spectrum light would enable plant growth. The assembly is easy and its appearance is good. Unfortunately, on Christmas morning, when she switched it on, nothing happened. No light. Disappointing. They should test their products before packaging them for shipment. I have initiated the exchange process and will update the review at a later date. *Update* - the return/exchange process was quick and painless. The light is working and the initial plant growth seems promising. I can recommend this light now. I will provide an longer term update in a few months.

I used it for a terrarian jar and it was perfect the quality of light was great and the base was sturdy enough for a big glass jar. Been using it for over a year and still works good to this day

Bought 3 of these and all went bad after a couple months. The LED went bad.

This light was great-while it lasted. I used it for a couple of months for a fish bowl. One night I heard a small pop and the light went very dim and started flickering. In the reviews for this product, many have reported a great customer service experience to get their lights repaired but I can’t find any contact n information for the company. I’d happily keep using this light if I could get it repaired.

The bamboo board could be a little larger as a 9” bowl sits slightly off centre with the back mounted light. This 7 watt light really elevated the look of my 3 gallon walstad setup.

This is a very nice sturdy stand with a nice bright led light. Works great for my 2 gallon fish bowl

I love how it displays my enclosures and plants. However, the light stand is wobbly and won’t stay tightly screwed in. Can’t say if I got a defect item or if that’s just how they all are.

Put a terracotta pot on the bamboo bottom. It turned black and cracked. I tried to make sure the pot wasn’t too wet after watering.
