Not 1000kv output think it's 100kv
Attaching a buckboost convertor to this and a 7.4V lithium battery I was able to feed it exactly 12v and 5.0 Amps but it only draws 1.65A which gave approx 3.3cm spark gap measured using digital calipers. Using Paschen's law this is about one HUNDRED kv not 1000.

Impressive
I used it in my Oxford University essay demonstrating cathode rays in a vacuum tube, which it did beautifully. But I must add it's important not to run them for more than a few seconds.
