RAPICCA Animal Handling Gloves, Bite Proof Double Leather, 22 in Grey-Black

My dog's favorite thing to do is play tug/ thrash. 10 minutes of that is more stimulating for him than an hour and a half walk. And his favorite thing to play with are gloves. After every winter, we'd play with my gloves for that year. Problem is they were quickly destroyed, as were my hands. And then it dawned on me, why not buy bite proof gloves. First thing, they arrived within like 12 hours. Quickest delivery I've ever had from Amazon. First time I put them on, my dog was a bit thrown off bc they don't look like the gloves we normally play with. After about 30 seconds of uncertainty, he understood the assignment (video I included). We've played with them twice today, totaling about 30 minutes, and there isn't a single sign of wear (picture included). Protected my hands/ arms from bites. I didn't notice a smell but I could tell my dog did. Feel like leather. Waterproof. I have average hand size, and the gloves were a little bit too big but nothing crazy. 10/10 product

I had Four racooons to trap and relocate. These glove were great ti protect myself. And they are big enough for my big man hands. (I'm a man)

These gloves are very thick and definitely helped prevent a much more serious injury. I have an aggressive dachshund and he attacked my hands and arm today. The gloves did their job and likely saved me from a hospital visit. He was able to slightly break the skin on my arm through the glove, but nothing compared to previous bites without them. I would recommend these for anyone dealing with aggressive dogs, but just know that no glove is completely bite proof against a determined dog. Overall I’m very glad I purchased them and feel much safer handling my dog with these on.

I use these for my cat, he likes to scratch and bite. These are really good for his claws but his teeth can almost get through and I can feel my skin getting pinched. Over all they are good and I use them. Other ones I have gotten seem like they fall apart but these so far have been holding up.

I purchased these gloves to get rid of a pesky raccoon that had been raiding my Grandmother's back porch. By the time the gloves arrived, the raccoon seemed to have moved on, but I figured having a pair of long sleeved animal gloves might come in handy some day, so I decided to keep them. Earlier today I was in the middle of doing some yard work, and got stuck by a thorny vine that had grown into my hedges. I thought to myself, "Hey, those animal gloves I bought might work for this", and sure enough, I was able to grip the thorny vines, wrap them around my arms and yank them out right by the roots! I especially love a product that comes in handy for things other than it's intended use, and these are also GREAT for doing yard work too! Thorny vines, prickly bushes, no problem. They're thick enough, yet flexible enough, to let you easily grip, pull and yank animals, branches, vines and shrubs alike! 5/5 stars, would buy again for a relative.

Amazing quality, very sturdy. My puppy is teething and he's always biting my hands. Those gloves are amazing! With those gloves, I'm teaching him not to bite but in a right way preventing me and him for being not stressed out. Very happy customer. Thank you very much for those incredible gloves.

Got an unruly cat who likes to bite and scratch? These gloves are the perfect defense. My cat is a real pain, literally, when it comes to meds, grooming, ear cleaning, or getting her out of someplace she doesn't need to be. She's a real fighter. But, she's met her match in these gloves. No matter how much she snarls, scratches, or bites, she can't get to me when I'm wearing these gloves. I purchased the 22 inch gloves which protect up past my elbows. Those extra inches come in handy. She can't get me, no matter how hard she tries. Made of thick leather and Kevlar, these gloves are surprisingly easy to wear. I have as much dexterity as with my yard work gloves, even though the leather is thicker. While these gloves are sold as Animal Handling Gloves, you could also use them with large birds, or reptiles, anything that you don't want to bite, scratch, or puncture your skin. You can also use these gloves in gardening chores dealing with plants with spines or thorns. Some of my plants have thorns that are over two inches long. These gloves will surely come in handy when I'm working on those plants. Veterinarians, Groomers, gardeners and cat owners will find these gloves useful in protecting your arms and hands. I've already had the chance to use them with my cat. She bites hard, not this time though. You will feel the pressure, but not the bite. Sorry kitty. Reasonable cost, excellent results, does what they say the gloves will do, protect your arms and hands. Maybe sometimes a bite will occur, but so far great results. No more fear of her bites or, scratching.

Gants très solides, et comme ils montent assez haut sur les avant-bras, on est bien protégé (utilisé lors de brossage un peu énergiques d'un chat à poils longs, à qui l'opération ne plait pas trop si ça dure...). Point d'attention : les griffures et coups de crocs du chat ont provoqué un petit effilochage de surface (quelques millimètres chaque brin) qui fait un peu lépreux et qui est difficile à supprimer. Utile également pour du jardinage, par exemple pour couper des ronces, on peut les prendre à pleine main sans crainte (l'épaisseur est un peu excessive pour tenir le sécateur, mais ça fonctionne).

These gloves are great. I bought them so I can wrestle with my Great Dane/Lab/Doberman/Bulldog mix. He's a big boy (55KG) and, although he's gentle, he can put the hurt on when wrestling. I got these so that we can PLAY rough together without my getting TOO hurt. He can still accidentally hurt my fingers when he gets really excited but the glove prevent his INJURING me . . . while we PLAY. If he were to actually attack me while I wore these gloves, he would break my fingers and arm bones EASILY. THESE GLOVES ARE NOT FOR TRAINING ATTACK DOGS. An attack dog would easily rip your arm off gloves or no. I would, however, feel completely protected from cats, rodents, snakes, very small dogs. NOT BIRDS and NOT MEDIUM TO LARGE SIZED DOGS. But for the purpose I bought these, I'm perfectly satisfied and my pup now has a new favourite toy.
