Although this shampoo isn’t the best smelling shampoo ever, it is not unpleasant either. The most important thing about the shampoo is it is the only shampoo I have ever found that doesn’t cause my scalp to itch. It has a very calming effect on my skin. I am a person whose skin is very sensitive to commercially manufactured soaps and shampoos. I have to use handmade soaps and body wash specifically made for sensitive skin. So this shampoo, as I previously said, is the only shampoo I have found that I can use without any problems. I wear a wig, so it’s especially important that I don’t have an itchy scalp! Even though this product is very expensive for the amount you get, (The amount you get is way less now than what you used to get for the same price a couple of years ago.) it is well worth it! And a little bit goes a long way. So the shampoo lasts for quite a while. I highly recommend this product!

I have purchased the 32 Oz bottle a number of times from various sellers. When I saw the price on the bottle, I just assumed it had gone up a bit in price....but when I received the 18 Oz. bottle, I was shocked. If this company accepted returns, it would go straight back. Love the shampoo, but ridiculous price. Paid less for larger bottle from other sellers. Buyer beware.

I tried five or six other "dandruff" shampoos without seeing any improvement. In fact they made it worse... my scalp was very itchy and I was so self-conscious about the white flakes that covered my collar and shoulders. Then I dug in to some research and discovered that dandruff and dry scalp are not at all the same thing. Those terms are commonly interchanged on consumer products, and it is really misleading. What I had was dry scalp and this shampoo knocked it out in less than a week. Tea tree is not my favorite scent, but overall this shampoo smells pleasant and not too strong. I highly recommend this product.

This bottle is TINY! We’ve purchased the 32 oz bottle for around $35, and I wrongly assumed this was the same size but it’s 18 oz and incredibly overpriced. Not eligible for a return so that’s $43 that could have been spent buying multiple bottles of other shampoos. This one will last about a month. It’s good shampoo but this isn’t worth almost $50 in any way. Will need to look elsewhere. Terrible!

Great stuff. To me, it smells minty - almost like Andes Mints. The shampoo works as well as any of the others I've used from Nature's Gate over the past six or so years. I've tried henna, aloe, the regular herbal one, and a couple others. They're all terrific. Nature's Gate is my favorite brand and I plan on sticking with it.

This shampoo makes your hair feel wonderful. Has a good scent, We have used this shampoo because my hair feels healthy,has a wonderful scent. Easy to style

Bought this for my husband's dry flaky scalp and he loves it. Says it gives him a tingling feeling on his scalp but it really helps and he has significantly less flakiness. Also glad to have found a product without parabens or sulfates. And the tea tree smell is great too!

Tries as a substitute because it was sulfite free, tea tree and there aren't enough quality products available with those two criteria. Does not provide the quality tingle I was looking for which helps my scalp which gets very irritated in 90% humidity all summer. Also more drying on my longer hair. Will finish but not buy again.

This shampoo has a great tea tree smell and lathers well but I feel like it strips my hair of it's natural oils too much. I would recommend this for someone with perhaps more of a greasy scalp or greasy hair. Use sparingly if you tend to have dry hair.Having said all of this, you may see different results so give it a try, see what happens.

It definitely cleanses hair and scalp, but after a while of using it i think it's a bit too strong for my scalp (which is really sensitive). My hair started to look a bit tired after this shampoo, had to stop using it.
