I got these for my sister in law and I loved them so much I bought myself a pair. Well mine ended up not working so I sent them back. Still my sisters are beautiful

These little gems have added such ambiance to my deck and back yard. They are a nice size, not too big and not too small. They give off a spectacular show of light through the entricate design cut out in the structure of it. You can brighten up you're table with one or your whole deck with many. The warm glow is perfect and peaceful for a nice evening outside. After charging during the daylight hours they turn on at dusk automatically and last quite a long time into the night. You can also turn them on and off manually. They look beautiful on a table, a ledge or hanging. I just love these lights. I ordered 5 packs and then after I enjoyed them so much I ordered even more. I have them hanging on my patio umbrella and also sitting every 5' on the ledge of my wrap around deck. They only thing I would want to let you know is that the metal is very delecate. It's on the thin side so you do have to treat them with care. If they fall on a hard surface they may dent. Easily fixable. Just open top and smooth out with finger. You are also able to replace battery when the time comes. It takes one Ni-MH AAA 600mAh 1.2V solar battery. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting a unique look to your area.

Updated Review: I kept these lanterns because I really did like the look of them. Because they weren't doing well where they were, my husband moved them to an area of more sun. Also, I have to admit to user error, I didn't realize that there was a plastic adhesive covering on the solar panels that needed to be removed. So, we made those adjustments, and now the lights are working much better, coming on with a much brighter light. They still don't stay on as late as I would hope, but they are better, and I think in very sunny weather, these might be pretty good lamps, if you only need them lit for a few hours. Unfortunately, we figured them out just in time for our rainy fall days to arrive. Initial Review: I have had these lanterns for a few days, now, and I am pretty disappointed. I have one hanging on my carport, and one hanging above the water feature nearby. It was a VERY sunny day, today, and already (10:30pm 9/3/19) the lights are totally off. They come on in the evening with a very dim light, and don't last long. I don't know if I have the box, so I may have to keep them and add an LED tea light in each one (I like the look of the lantern), but this is not what I had expected.

This was a gift and my Sister loves it! It makes a beautiful pattern on her outside wall where she hung it up. Now I hope someone will gift me this!

I'm on the second return of these items and I really really like them. However, the solar panels arrived with either no protective cover on the solar panel that is usually there or there was a blatant scratch across the solar panel. I don't know if that's going to compromise the life of these units or not, but it $25 for the pair. I want something that actually looks decent and arrives in good condition. Going to return the second one and maybe order another to give it one more try but I just dropped the first one by the UPS store 15 minutes ago and now I'm returning the second one within the hour. Update: when I want to return the second pair, I had an epiphany. UPS had not closed up the original ones that I have returned earlier. I asked them about swapping the one bad one I had from the second delivery with the one good one in the first box. They allow this so I returned too bad ones and have two good ones. All happy now. I also canceled the second return by calling Amazon and speaking with someone. This does not negate the need for this company to do better quality control and inspect the items before they are sealed in the box for delivery. This was an extremely easy catch because they are right on top and you could see when you open the box right off. There's something was wrong. In any event, I have updated my review to three stars as I really like these. But it does not justify the lack of visual inspection. That was obviously not done. If the inconvenience associated with the above was not encountered, I would have certainly given this five stars.

Ordered this 2 pack solar lantern since it’s highly rated. Unfortunately this item did not work at all. I have placed it where it can get the most amount of sunlight but only 1 lantern lighted up and did not last very long. I have moved them to different location to give it a chance to work since the design is pretty but the results have been very disappointing. I do not recommend it and will return the solar lights. I have had it for only 3 days. In addition, the handle to hang it came off, dropped and the globe was dented. I give it 1 star for it’s aesthetic value.

I placed the lamp in a corner of my room that gets the most sunlight. I live in tropical Singapore by the way and we get sunny conditions all year round. The lamp doesn't even last more than 30 minutes after a day's worth of solar charging. Not worth the buy.

Only one light has motion sensor. Not able to replace because price increased and item not available
