The extra long height is exactly what we needed for a drop-ceiling mount (we mounted to the ceiling above the drop ceiling). That part worked well. What we had a problem with is we mounted it to an Epson projector with only three mounting screw holes and the mounting circle plate didn't match up well with the screw holes. Eventually, we found a position that worked with two arms provided and a screw through the circle mounting plate. The other problem we had is that the hex screws were extremely hard to turn when mounting the swivel. Eventually we got them in but it was hard turning all the way. It would have been easier if they had a socket head. Nonetheless, we're very confident it won't loosen - that's for sure!

The product arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, I did have to slightly modify (drill out) the attachment points to accommodate larger bolts that my Walmart purchased Onn brand projector required. The mount came with an assortment of bolt sizes but none fit my particular projector. Minor issue for me.

Mounting Hardware not for DrywallAfter struggling for an hour with the provided mounting hardware, I had to go to home depot to purchase Hollow Wall mounting anchors. The provided were for concrete not for drywall. Do yourself a favor and research your wall and your needed anchors because I made bigger holes than I needed to and wasted time. Otherwise it's a sturdy metal mount.

The projector mount works fine and is easily adjustable to fit multiple projectors. It also has multiple adjustments and once set seem to stay put. The major issue were the ceiling mounting bolts. I'm pretty sure they included concrete mounting bolts and NOT drywall mounting bolts. The bolts provided left a half inch between the ceiling plate and the ceiling. The nuts would reach the end of the threads and just spin. Do yourself a huge favor and go purchase some heavy duty toggle bolts. My ceiling drywall is 1/2 inch and for 8 bucks I was able to pick up some toggle like bolts that were super easy to install. Trust me...do not use the ones provided. Its possible I received the wrong bolts in the package, in fact, I had to because there was no way for them to work. Other than that 1 1/2 half hour delay to get the correct hardware...everything thing else was straight forward.

I actually ordered the post to long. I cut both posts 8 inches for a low profile installation and needed to drill holes for the set screws. Easily mounted to the wood ceiling and mounted to my projector. Highly recommended.

Have just installed this mount and I am very pleased with it, although it was far too long for my needs it was easy to cut to the exact size required. I think it is great for cable management which was why I searched for it.Also, very pleased with excellent delivery time.

Fit my projector like a glove! Easy to install on projector and ceiling. Has great movement. Super sturdy

This was one of the few mounting hardware I found that had long enough arms to hold my Epson 3100. It is a decent product except that the hardware it came with won’t work with drywall ceiling. I wish they had given big screws that can be drilled into the ceiling joists.
