Rugged Protection OtterBox Defender Series Case for LG G6 - Bulk Packaging - Moon River (Bahama Blue/Tempest Blue)

As all Otterboxes are, this is very sturdy and rugged. It holds up to cat nibbles without a scratch. However, it is difficult to open the case to insert/remove a cell phone. The included instructions are useless; check videos on YouTube for an actual tutorial. Also the screen cover doesn't interface well with the phone screen and the screen cover collects dust like you wouldn't believe. I ended up removing it, but the case is so rugged my screen seems to be protected anyway.Something to note: because of the dual case (hard plastic surrounded by silicone), this will almost eliminate the vibrations from your phone. So if you rely on feeling your phone vibrate rather than listening to notification sound, be aware the vibrations will be noticeably less than what you're used to.

I remove the plastic shield and use my own screen protector, but it still works great with their screen cover... I just prefer the feel of just my screen protector. The case is a perfect fit and it is durable protection for my phone and love the clip holster.

Pros: typical solid Otterbox construction, fits phone & cutouts exactly, easy to install/remove, color is niceCons: touchscreen is already scraped up after a month, mainly over keyboard, and dust accumulates behind it constantlyI wish they had omitted the built-in plastic screen cover entirely, in favor of allowing the user to install a screen cover directly to the screen. If I were keeping this phone, I would probably cut out the plastic and install a glass screen protector.

Built as expected for an Otterbox Defender. Makes phone fat and wider by adding layers of protective material around phone. Screen protection has been getting weaker to non existent on newer Otterbox designs. Don't expect the newer defender series to be as water resistant or to protect the screen like they have in the past.

Be careful, if you buy this, it is not warrantied. But for this price, who cares? I paid $55 for my original one, broke the clip. When I tried to get it warrantied, they said they no longer carry it. So I found this, and it was a lot less money, so apparently because my phone is 2 years old, it's way outdated.

It is very sturdy and well made. However, it did not have a hole for the camera on the back and i had to cut one. Suppose to fit better than that.

this is the second one I have had , I would not have needed a new one had I not spilled acetone on the back of the old one and caused it to split apart as well as had splashes of super glue on the screen .... how ever even though the case started to degrade it did the job and kept my phone safe

The case is great - it screen protection mad the screen sensitivity horrible. There is a bubble between the phone and the phone's screen. I even tried to place a tempered glass screen protector on the phone to make the touch better. Nothing has worked. Love the case - would like it better without the added screen protection.
