(Review in English & en Español) - Body and Soul of the Dino Philosophy resumed in one book. -
Brooks Kubik is one of the strengh training writers that most influenced in my aproach to training as trainee and coach too.I have the chance to enjoy several Brooks's publications, and I like to think that the classic "Dinosaur Training" is the soul of the Kubik training philosophy and "Chalk and Sweat" is the body.I find this new book as a bridge that link both of this great books, because at the first part you have enough information about what the "Dino" philosophy of training is and in the last part you find a lot of usefull and no nonsence training programs. And in a way this publication open the gate to the other Kubiks books. For the newbie is great way to enter in this world of iron, strengh and power. If you are starting in the weight traininig do you a favor and get this ebook you dont regret it and also I dare to say that your smartphone will have more deep and usefull information than what can find in the majority of the comercial gims.I'm sure that the experienced "Dinos" also enjoy this book, as a sort of handbook that mix the ideas, programs and also inspiring pics that describe the core of Kubik vision of training in a convenience handy digital format.

Excellent training advice!
Dinosaur Training, by Brooks Kubik, was nothing short of a landmark book on training. I remember when I first received my copy of the book in 2009 (well after it was first published) and within the first few pages I knew I had something groundbreaking in my hands. By the time I finished it, my entire concept of training had changed, and I was practically on fire with the need to get lifting!Brooks's message on no nonsense training rang true in the 90s (as other dinosaurs gladly testify), it rang true in 2009 when I first read Dinosaur Training, it rings true now, and it will probably ring true for the next few centuries. To excel as a drug free trainee, you need to simplify your training, you need to perfect your skill, and you need to train with great intensity. These are simple concepts to say, but applying them can be quite a challenge. The entire series of Dinosaur Training books provide you with a no nonsense, straight talk approach on how to apply these ideas effectively to get the best results possible.Brooks's works draws upon his own personal experience, as well as a vast amount of research into great Iron Game athletes from over the past century (and beyond). Brooks focuses on how great athletes rose to the highest competitive levels of their day, broke records, and won championships without the use of drugs, fancy equipment, or other modern conveniences.Dinosaur Training Secrets compiles, updates, and summarizes a lot of the ideas Brooks has written about and explored in his other books, and presents them in a format that is easily read, understood, and able to stand on its own. This book is a great distillation of many years worth of work, and is a great way for newer lifters to find no nonsense advice on how to excel as a drug-free lifter. The ideas presented in Dinosaur Training Secrets are quite different from what you will find in many other places in the fitness industry, but make no mistake, Dinosaur Training Programs are a lot of hard work that will produce some amazing results.

Sound Lifting Advice
I loved that the chapters were short and easy to understand. The training programs and real-world examples of trainees that followed these programs speak for itself. It has definitely made me more aware of overtraining and the importance of recovery. This is an excellent book. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for new dinos; affordable for old dinos
I'll say this first: If you are already a dino, this may not be the book for you, and you should wait for the next book in the series. That being said, this is an excellent update and consolidation of the many great principles, workouts, and bits of history that Mr. Kubik has disseminated to the Dino-Training crowd over the years. The affordable ebook format will be great for any newcomers to Dino Training, and the book is succinct, effective, and to the point. I fear that there isn't much new here for ppl who already have both DINOSAUR TRAINING and CHALK AND SWEAT (which I base my own workouts off of). There is a nice short chapter on H.I.T. (high-intensity; of single-set-to-failure training) which I found to be enlightening despite being a dyed-in-the-wool dino. There is a good chapter on heavy dumbbell training as well.In SUMMARY: Mr. Kubik has consolidated his decades-in-the-making body of work into a brief and affordable format for new dinos. There are a few gems here for his current fans, which make it worth the small price-tag perhaps. But overall, I think this is a fantastic book for NEW dinos, but something that owners of DINOSAUR TRAINING and CHALK & SWEAT may find useful mostly for one or two brief chapters and as a reminder that dino training aint new; its just worth doing.

A worthy heir to a great tradition of strength
I loved Brooks Kubik's training philosophy. He's the present day representative of a tradition that goes back to the Golden Age of Strength. There is not an ounce of nonsense in this book. All you will find is an unwavering dedication to real strength, power and muscle and a deep dislike for the BS prevalent today. And he can write. With passion, knowledge and verve. Read this book and you'll be hooked to the Dinosaur style (of training and writing).

Loved the old school knowledge
Loved the old school knowledge that is real and much needed in today's world where there's too much emphasis on supplements, drugs and too much volume.I will be using the techniques learned in this book to set new PRs. Also, I will be getting his other books as well.

Istruttivo
Interessante con molti esempi di progressioni e di allenamenti, con riferimenti ai corsi York di Bob Hoffman degli anni 50',Ăš un sunto delle pubblicazioni di Kubik.
