Huion GT-190 is the Turcom TS-7190 tablet, Great buy!!
I started my tablet research for a new alternative to the Cintiq. I don't have that much money. So I stumbled across a couple types. Monoprice, Huion Gt-190, Busto, Yiynova and finally the the Turcom brand. I had decided to go with the Huion Gt-190. As I found this on Amazon one thing that I learned is that the Turcom brand TS-7190 is the EXACT same unit as the Huion GT-190. I bought this and it even has the Huion label. Turcom just resells the model, but you get all support and drivers from Huion. Just a heads up for those confused about this deal. I don't know, but I think Monoprice may be the same. Email the companies to find out. Turcom was great.I didn't receive a pen charger with this, but I am looking for an alternative at the moment. will update if I do find it. Once the monitor is hooked up on windows 7 with 2 monitors (tablet being the second) I would move the pen on the tablet and the cursor would move on the 1 monitor (non-tablet). I installed both the driver from the tablet CD and the Huion website. I tried everything to get both working (extended displays, duplicate, change main screen) but the only way was to make the tablet the main screen and only have one. Until I found this website https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5LrxEbDolynVU5XM0FOb1dGWTg/editOnce I installed this driver I was able to put both monitors up and use the tablet. Be sure the in the pen settings that you set the pen to the correct monitor. That wasn't my problem, but could see it being over looked.Product: It was clean, nice, stable, and worth the price. This is my first LCD tablet graphics pad.The pen feels nice and I was drawing on it for a while. As you have probably read from other reviews the viewing angle is not to be desired, but if you can figure a position then your golden. The calibration on the pen didn't take that long. You just have to know where you want it and keep trying. I recommend this product and Turcom and Huion both answered all of my emails pretty quick.

Tracking was pretty bad, drivers don't work in the same machine ...
Tracking was pretty bad, drivers don't work in the same machine as Wacom drivers. Viewing angles were terrible. Fortunately there are new full HD, IPS screen models that work great.

This is a great device for someone with a low budget. As far as a tablet goes, I've done quite a bit of research and apparently the Huion is very similar to that of a Cintiq. However, Huion needs to update their drivers for windows 8. I've had this tablet now for about 2 months, and the display will only work up to 45 minutes, before the response time become incredibly slow and within minutes my computer will crash. If you type in Huion GT-90 issues, you will find a slew of similar issues. This could all be fixed with a driver update. Also, I would like to note that the installation is somewhat complicated. if using windows 8, after installing the driver, it will ask you to calibrate the device. DO NOT DO THIS! After calibrating, the device begins to act very strange. For some reason the stylus only works on the right side of the screen after calibrating. Simply do not calibrate the device and you should be fine.As it says in the title, you get what you pay for, this tablet saved me a bunch of money, and for the 45 minuets that it works, I thoroughly enjoy the product. If you have purchased this product and are experiencing similar issues, it is best to unplug the usb once the calibration begins to slow. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and you should be fine to plug it back in and start drawing. One thing to note, the stylus is rechargeable, and last for a very long time. Which is really great, you'll only need to recharge once a week for about an hour.

Pretty awesome so far
Had some hiccups regarding the installation, we didn't understand that you need to connect a VGA or DVI in one port plus USB in another, since this works as an extra monitor. Duh!!! You will find the installation manual on the enclosed DVD, read it before you start installing anything! Couldn't find the software for Win 8, made it work with Mac OS 10.6 and so far very good with Manga. You can email Huion and ask them where the software for Win 8 is, they are very helpful. The product is used by a beginner so I cannot say whether this is as good as a Cintiq monitor, but saved some money in the process, around $120 for a Huion and $$ for a Cintiq, which was important for someone on a limited budget. Had the product for one week.

What a POS. The first one I bought had dust particles in between the glass and the screen and multiple clusters of dead pixels. Drivers took forever to install and pressure sensitivity was zero in Sketchbook Pro and GIMP. Returned it and bought another after HUION posted it had drivers to fix Sketchbook Pro issue. Second one had a small cluster of dead pixels, no noticeable particles in the screen, however, the driver fix...even after completely removing any trace of all previous drivers...was completely and utterly a failure. So, for the pixel and driver issue I am returning this POS and saving up for a Yiynova like I should have to begin with. You get what you pay for, which is why I am avoiding the Monoprice model.
