We started buying this at Costco, but they stopped carrying the chocolate flavor. Happy to find it here on Amazon. It is a pretty "clean" protein powder which is one reason we like it. It blends easily, has a smooth texture, and a really good taste. We mix it with milk, ice, peanut butter, and a banana to add extra protein and such.

So far, I really like this whey protein. It's easy to digest and has a very good price per gram of protein, which is important if you are trying to consume your ideal body weight in grams of protein per day to build muscle. It mixes easily with water and doesn't have extra ingredients that you don't want. It's very filling mixed with water. Chocolate is my favorite flavor so far.

This protein powder is easy to use and is of high quality. It readily dissolves in water and it contains a scoop to help you measure out the amount you need. I like the taste and the convenience of this product.

I bought the 2lb bag of the vanilla bean flavor of this protein because the larger 4.25lb version is available at my local Costco. I wanted to a smaller portion before I went all in on the bigger one.As far as taste goes, it is actually very pleasant. Most vanilla flavors are extremely bland, but the AFTERTASTE, is actually quite vanilla ice cream reminiscent. That being said, no vanilla protein is going to taste like a vanilla milkshake except syntha6, but syntha6 is loaded with crap ingredients.Mix ability was excellent, no clumps or solids after shaking for approximately 30 seconds with only water.As far as the negative reviews on here go. A punctured bag is by no means acceptable. I received one in good condition with no punctures. Plenty of people on here mention that the bag is not resealable, mine sealed no problem. To those that have had problems resealing their bags I would assume it would be because of one of two problems. One could be that there was a manufacturing defect, which would mean it wasn’t their fault to begin with. Two would be that the powder has made its way into the tracks of the sealing portion which would not allow good contact. The parts that seal together are not engaged prior to opening the bag, the bag is initially sealed with a removable pull tab.As far as taste, mixability, and quality of ingredients I would definitely recommend this protein powder to others. Especially if you don’t want any artificial sweeteners.

I've been using Ascent 100% Whey Protein Powder for a while now, and overall, I really like it. The taste is fantastic – the chocolate flavor is rich and doesn't have that artificial aftertaste you often find with other protein powders. As someone who tries to avoid soy in my diet, I was really hoping this product would be completely free of it, especially given the "clean" ingredient profile advertised. While it's my oversight for not checking the ingredients more thoroughly before purchasing, I wanted to highlight this for others who might also be trying to avoid soy. Especially because some of their other flavors ARE soy free.Despite the soy content in the chocolate, the quality and taste are still top-notch. If soy isn't a concern for you, I highly recommend this protein powder. If it is, you might want to explore their other flavors or carefully check the ingredient list before committing.

I switched from another well known brand I was using for years. They must have recently changed their formula as I was feeling bloated. Switched to this product and noticed a difference right away. No bloating. Good choice of flavors. A little pricey but the quality is there.

This protein powder is amazing. At first I would just mix it with almond milk and the taste was pretty good but I could kind of taste the stevia. Now I blend it with frozen bananas and almond milk and it is SO GOOD. It seriously tastes like ice cream and I love it. It’s my first protein powder as I’m new to working out, and it keeps me feeling full and my muscles are growing so I would assume it’s helping with that as well. The ingredients seem pretty good compared to other protein powders which have less protein and more sugar. I love the mocha cold brew flavor (not a super strong coffee taste though)

Love this stuffChocolate is the only one I use.Great tastingI mix it with some frozen fruit in the blender.I get in lots of protein and vitamins as well.Since I’m not a big breakfast eater, this fills me till lunch.
