Gore Bike Wear Women's Countdown Gore-Tex Lady Pant

These seem great so far. I bike commute in Portland, Oregon so I need a reliable, packable rain pant. These work great for that purpose. The only problem is the waist is a little sung so throwing them on in a sudden rain isn't as quick as I would like but the rest of the fit it great and no leaks, unless you leave the back pocket unzipped-oops! Totally waterproof in heavy rainfall and long enough that they come down over the top of the shoe covers so the rain isn't dripping into my shoes (a problem I had with my last pants).They seem to breath enough for me but I wear them over bike/exercise shorts if I know it will be raining for most of the ride and not over street clothes. They have made my rainy commutes much more enjoyable.

These are made for someone with perfect body shape. I usually take a large in all types of pants, I ordered an XL to layer underneath.Tthese were tight around hips and rear. Exchanged for XXL. Have not received, yet. Still waiting, been 7 days already. If your hips or rear are a little big, order a size larger or two sizes larger if you want to layer underneath. I could have gotten away with the XL, but I want to use these for skiing and need a little more room.

I'm 5'1" and thin so I bought the x-small. I swim in them. I gave them a four-star rating because I like the material a lot, can roll down the waist and use the drawstring. Because of the velcro on the bottom, the long length isn't too much of an issue on the bike. I wanted a pair of good, warm pants for winter biking and these will work great for that. Also they arrived quickly.

Easy to get on and off, with velcro around the bottom of the leg to keep it out of your bike chain. Usually size large is only a little large on me (was accounting for padded bike shorts underneath), but these were extra large. Easy enough to have taken in at a tailor, though.

Good value, true to size. I was tempted to buy the high end rain pants with all of the bells and whistles but didn't wanna drop >$200 on a pair of pants! So glad I got these, instead. Make a great outer layer for damp weather, or a light layer for adding a touch of warmth by keeping out wind. Very packable, too. I keep them in my bag every day, just in case. :-)

These are probably fine pants, but they are huge. Are they men's sizes? I ordered XS, I'm 5'3", 122 pounds, and there was no way I could alter them to fit. Nice fabric, and probably a fantastic rain pant, but just too large.

A little tight over regular clothes, but very effective keeping dry

The pants are nice and long. I'm 5'8" and they go right down to the shoes. The fit is very comfortable and I stay dry even in a down pour. I've tried other rain ware but nothing compares to Gore-Tex.

Just exactly what I wanted for rainy days on the bike and so easy to pack away. Thank you Goretex!.
