There is absolutely no way a child of 4 years could do this. My 7 year old who loves Maths and Suduko could not do the easiest puzzle in the book without adult help. They are adult level puzzles and there is no way this is the level a child of 4-8 could do. Whatsmore they puzzle size is so tiny that they can only just fit the numbers in the boxes - again not something a pre-schooler for example could do. This is completely misadvertised. I would give it 0 stars if possible.

Very disappointed with the bars in this book. The sizes are far too small for my son to work out. Had to return.

The sudoku puzzles were incredibly hard for 4-8year olds.4 puzzles to a page, when they would have benefitted being 2 to a page even for adults

This is not as advertised. The puzzles are not aimed at kids -- they are regular, not particularly easy puzzles with pictures of monsters. I would say they are around the difficulty level of the NYTimes medium to hard daily sodoku. Not good for teaching my kid how to do sodoku. I will be using the easy NYTimes ones. I wish Amazon made it easier to pick out real and useful products.
