Does this have a ball joint directly behind the mirror? My rear view mirror popped off the ball joint but the mounting bracket is still attached

It does have a ball joint directly behind the mirror. My factory mounting bracket was still attached to the windshield so I used it instead of the one that came with the mirror. It worked great.
