2 strands replace 5 strands
I previously had 5 strings of Large commercial grade GE icicle lights for the front of my house, but one of them did not work this year. I could NOT find a matching replacement set so I bought these. Just two sets of these lights replaced the five sets I had previously, run on much less electricity, and were faster to install. They look just as nice as the old set.

these were the old ones
I ordered two boxes each of icicles from two different places. These were new in the box, but the older version. the newer version is much easier to hang. I would think they would all be the newer version by now, since this vendor ran out and that was why I had to go elsewhere. The newer version hangs in just a few minutes. The older version about 1/2 hour. The difference is how they pack them so the icicles fall easily now. Both lights are the same just different packaging

Lights Are Bad
These lights went out within 3 months. They went out in small sections at first, then a long string. Very disappointed in my purchase.

Works but not LED as stated
I really don't know how they consider these to be led, it has to be same basic two prong wire set up as I grew up with in 80s. when I took the package out of the box little pieces of light bulb flew out everywhere.. so before I even did anything I plugged it in and all the strands worked. I went ahead and proceeded to hang it up and I did find one bold that was missing / shattered but all the other ones continue to work. So I'll give it the benefit of the doubt it still hasn't straightened down but it's it and works. but as I said before I was looking for led which this said it was and I do not believe that's what it is.

I thought they twinkled My own fault I assumed. But I really like them they are not those annoying led lights !! They are a nice soft light!

Thank you, came very fast and as described. These are replacements for next year so I haven't used them yet but they are the same as what I had so the should be very nice.
