Emerson Radio ER100120, 10W Wireless Fast Charging Smartset Alarm Clock Radio with Bluetooth Speaker, USB Charger, FM Radio and 1.2" Display (Updated Version), Black

I purchased two of the ER100120 alarm clock radios as gifts. The first unit worked for less than 15 minutes before it simply powered off and was dead... no lights, no functionality, just dead. The second unit worked EXCEPT the up button is non-functional. If I set the alarm to 7:00AM and need to adjust it to a later time (i.e. 7:15AM), I must go backwards in time through all the hours/minutes to get to 7:15AM. With the non functional up button, I'm unable to simply go forward those 15 minutes. I contacted Emerson customer service. It was quick and easy and the helpdesk agent issued two replacement units to me. Those devices arrived today and out of the box, neither functions properly. Pressing various buttons yields no response OR unexpected responses. The power button sometimes turns the radio on/off BUT it also can unexpectedly dim the LEDs. The alarm 2 button works and sometimes toggles the alarm 1 functionality. Unfortunately the alarm button 1 does not operate. One of the units I received today has another inoperable up button. To further add to my disappointment, I used the power supply from one of defective units that I received today, on the original unit I received that died after 15 minutes. That unit has been functional for over an hour now BUT still had buttons that don't respond OR trigger unexpected functionality of other buttons. That's 4 out of 4 defective units. I'm at a loss. I'll contact Emerson tomorrow to see what options are available for a known/good functioning unit. Preferably one that's been tested perhaps. Otherwise I'll move on to another manufacturer that hopefully has some sense of quality control.

I actually like this alarm clock. One thing I really like is that it dims four levels with the last level the screen is off as I like to sleep in the dark with no unnecessary light. I just sleep better.However, it completely rolled over and died after three weeks. Eh.. it happens. Amazon was good enough to send a replacement.The replacement was DoA on arrival. The dimmer didn't work at all and two of the other buttons seemed "mushy." I'm giving it one final try. After that. I'm going to switch to a completely different brand. This is the epitome of "cheap Chinese junk."

IQ charger does not work, this was the main reason to buy, other features work well. The IQ charger icon appears on screen when the phone is on the IQ pad, it starts charging, but after a few seconds it stops charging, and the icon on screen disappears. Very disappointed.

So sad this alarm clock did not work out. Bought an Emerson 15 years ago and loved it until the buttons finally broke. This one did not work as described in the instructions. Button labels are apparently suggestions because either they did not work as described (week setting, radio volume) or the buttons changed the alarm time. Didn't try the wireless charger. Glad I didn't. Who knows what could have happened to my phone if I had the way this experience went. Sending back.

This radio worked really well! The only thing I had problems with was the wireless charging. But the USB charging works great and it’s perfect for my office where I wanted it. The Bluetooth works really well. I was very satisfied with what I got for the price.

Have been using Emerson products for years, really like the SmartSet feature, and was looking forward to the wireless charging. First one came. The radio tuner buttons were reversed somehow (!) and the charger quit after a few uses. Amazon replaced it quickly enough. Second one works fine as a radio/alarm but the wireless charger stopped working almost immediately. Very sloppy and uncharacteristic of Emerson products. This is way too buggy to recommend.

I have had to return two clock radio’s because none worked when I plugged in. So frustrating.

I bought two clocks and both had problems. I was unable to change the time zone on one of them and the other the time set buttons didn’t operate.

No carga de manera correcta el celular, lo tienes que colocar de mil formas para que haga match con la carga y sino pareciera que lo cargas y lo desconectas lo cargas y lo desconectas, me decepcionó mucho este producto. Como reloj despertador y radio no tiene peros, pero lo que es su función de cargarlo inalambricamente no funciona nada bien
