What is the inside diameter of the fixing ring for the pendant 40mm?

I’m not a hundred percent I fully understand what your asking if it’s what I think the inner ring fits on the bulb thing n it’s the size of the old bulbs you used to get so they’re the biggest fittings you can buy ie a bayonet bulb, sorry if this isn’t helpful as I don’t know the technical words

It's a nice lampshade nice size, colours, style and price. Only thing that lets it down is the stars don't really appear on the walls, there is too much light leakage through the shade
