THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT! Replacing a yellowed, formerly white plastic toilet handle in the flat / low-profile wedge shape was one of the most frustrating things I've done, not realizing how little space there was for the front-left mount behind the toilet cover when raised.I tried a beautiful, metal Moen Voss that was just too big and a Hibbent one that looked a bit more heavy duty than this, but it was manufactured like junk. The only other possibilities were between $80-$110, which seems excessive.While I wish this was real metal, it's a nicer looking and feeling plastic replacing plastic (couldn't find any metal ones with decent reviews that fit, and AI couldn't find anything either). The ONLY thing I'd nitpick about is the black washer between the handle and tank... white would be better, but many have none at all! This also fits better in the square hole and was easier to install than the two others.I guess third time really is the charm!

This was so easy to install and no tools were needed. This is for a flush lever mount on the front of the toilet (most toilets). I saw some others on Amazon that were much less expensive and I almost accidentally bought one of those which are for toilets that have the flush lever on the side of the toilet.Pros:1) Very nice and durable. Parts in the tank are made from metal vs. cheap plastic.2) The flush lever sits level vs. the cheap one that I replaced which was always pointed more upward.3) The metal was very easy to bend. I was able to bend it in a couple of places to quickly customize it to my particular tank so it is very universal. I saw a review that said they had to return it. You don't, just bend the metal exactly how you need it. No tools were need to bend it.Con:1) It's a little pricey; however, once you see it installed it looks very nice and worth it.2) Looks so nice that you will want to replace all the flush levers in your house so you are going to end up spending a lot more! Not really a con.

Been looking for a decent style, brushed nickle finish flush handle for our toilets (all the other hardware is brushed stainless or brushed nickle, so having chrome levers on the toilets stood out!) since we remodeled/updated the guest bathroom during pandemic lockdown. Really nothing much to say, other than a brushed style lever is hard to find -- chrome, brass, porcelain levers are everywhere, but rarely see brushed at the home centers. Amazon to the rescue!Was easily installed, looks great, only real complaint is the description says it is steel/iron, it is made of finish plated plastic with a brass lift arm. For under $10, I kind of figured it had to be plastic, but it fits and works, plus the brass arm made it easy to bend for chain alignment.Fit and finish are acceptable for the price (remember, you get what you pay for, and when nothing else matches what you want, you get used to what you get, LOL), the original handle was also a plated plastic, so one for one there. The overall feel is a little wobbly or loose, even when its base is securely mounted on the tank, but nothing we can't live with, I chalk it up to "$10 part, $10 feel" since the only others I found were upwards of $30-40 each at the home centers *when they had them in stock a couple years ago*, and you don't notice the looseness unless you jiggle the handle, so "meh" on that detail ;-)I looks great, works like it should, the minor issues noted are just that: minor, I'd order again for additional toilets. The price is right, you get a decent looking handle, it works just like the original and in the end, that's what really matters with a part like this :-)I dinged it one star because I want to send the seller, and potential buyers, the message about this item being plated plastic, not steel as the listing describes, and would quickly upgrade to 5 star review if seller corrected the listing. After all, the one I replaced this for was also plated plastic, even though it was original equipment on a high-end and reputable brand...

This lever was extremely easy to install. I think between removing the broken one and putting this in took less than 5 minutes. No the handle is not metal, it is plastic, but you can't tell the difference. Would I buy this again if needed, absolutely, and I would also recommend.

It works fine for me. You may be nervous about doing any type of home repair yourself and that’s understandable. But something like replacing a toilet handle is one of the easiest things you can do on your own.This a has a square peg to fit into a square hole on the toilet. It’s easy to unscrew and screw it on by hand, no tools needed, the bar is solid but with a little force you can bend it by hand if needed for adjustability.It’s sturdy and functions perfectly. After least a week it still works with no loosening of parts. You have stability in it that it shouldn’t fail or need replacement for a good amount of length of time.

Either I have done something wrong, or my item is defective. If you pull out on the handle at all, the bar falls. When the bar falls, the chain gets caught under the flap and the water runs constantly. I had 2 other men look at it, and they don’t know what is wrong with it either. The instructions are vague and don’t say any additional step is needed to prevent this from happening. I took it apart to make sure nothing was missed, and found nothing else that could be done to prevent this from happing.

So another toilet lever broke on my 1990’s era Mansfield toilet. The last one provided maybe 3 or 4 years of service. I’ve never had such problems with other mainstream toilets (Kohl’s, Toto, etc). Nonetheless, as this on seems to have good reviews, several mentioning it has a solid metal handle, and the brushed nickel finish that matches the faucet in the bath, it looked like a no-brainer choice for a bit over a 10-spot.Frankly I’m disappointed. The whole lever and rod is generic enough on design. I’m sure it fits w wide variety of applications. My first disappointment is the handle of this trip lever is absolutely NOT metal, let alone solid metal. The whole thing weighs next to nothing, it is very lightweight which leaves me with concerns about durability.My Mansfield toilet has a relatively unique flush design. It has a center “column” and the lever connects to a slot on its side to raise it up to trip the flush (rather than a standard flapper). Frankly the design works well, but it makes a bit of extra work replacing lever. The lever rod must be shortened in order to install into the slot on the flushing column. About an inch need to be trimmed, so I started a cut with my hacksaw and recognized immediately that it was not brass (as I was suspecting). I finished by a quick back and forth bend and the end of the rod just snapped off. It is made of some type of cheap, light and relatively brittle alloy, maybe aluminum.The rest of the installation was uneventful. The lever trips the flush mechanism just fine and the finish on the lever does look nice. I do not expect a particularly long service life though (probably another 2-3 years) based on the very cheap materials.

Works just fine. Simple to install. No problems.

This came fast and installed like any other toilet handle. If I need another one I will buy this product.

Seems to work.well. I rubber-coated the stem to prevent rusting.
