Perfect!
I installed this adaptor on my MacBook Pro Mid 2014 with a Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD.Works perfectly well. No hibernation issues. Mine defaults to PCIe 2.0 x 4 from PCIe 2.0 x 2 (originally) as my MacBook model only supports PCIe 2.0 speeds but I do have an additional 2 lanes so I'm getting speeds up to 1450MB/s which is double what it originally was.If you have a MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) you will benefit from speeds up to 3000MB/s with the above SSD blade as it supports PCI 3.0Comes in anti-static packaging (sealed) very professional. There are a lot of fake ones on the market and this is definitely not one of them. Thanks!

Easy install, just works as if it were a factory fit.
Just over a month after I installed this in a 2014 Retina MBP alongside a 2TB drive and I have no complaints, I think twice in that time I had to hard restart other than that I just keep closing and opening the MBP as I did for all the previous 5 years with the factory 512Gb drive. Works a treat, easy to install, no extra heat, just a slightly quicker, much larger drive to play with. No more overpriced apple upgrades, I can't wait until 4Tb+ M.2 drives coem down in price for the next upgrade, probably in a few years time.

works well
I replaced my macbook original ssd with this adapter. It worked without problem, I used Samsung 980 500gb ssd. Ssd size becomes just a bit longer to the screw but no issue to fix the screw.

Alle MacOS X Updates installieren (m.2 SSDs benötigen mindestens High Sierra)2. Backup machen3. Bootstick erstellen4. Macbook öffnen und Original SSD entnehmen5. "m.2 SSD" in Adapter einstecken6.
