I love these and have been ordering for couple years now and today was the first time I received a burnt batch and after trying to ignore the after taste it unfortunately was impossible. Slightly disappointed that the batch was deemed worthy of sending out to customers :/ I will order again and see if this willBe a continued occurrenceUpdate! They have been wonderful for years except that one time ! Love them to bits and they taste incredible and have been consistent! Have updated to 5 stars.

Extremely good walnuts

Really nice flavour - not even a hint of bitterness. The best walnuts I've ever tasted! Yes, on the pricey side, but you get quality for your money.

disappointed with these walnuts, lots of broken pieces and just didn't taste nice attall, dark brown and not abit creamy, infact i found them tasteless. large bag with not alot inside. just not worth the money

These nuts were a revelation - being activated they have been effectively pre-treated, unlike normal raw walnuts. It changes the taste and texture slightly. I found them to be deliciously creamy &, smooth in flavour, and crunchy in texture (without the usual bitterness.They a little on the expensive side but a nice healthy treat.

Very edible and not at all bitter!

These are nice but I was getting them for £4.95 just a week ago.. they have now shot up to almost £7! Not worth re-purchasing after that huge hike in price.
