I had been wanting to try these noodles for months, but I was put off by the price and worried that I wouldn't like them since I had never had jjajangmeon before, especially when all I've ever known was the normal common instant ramen you'd find for less than $1 each (which I don't care for too much). These are amazing and now I'm addicted. I ordered an entire box and even still, they didn't last long. I ended up trying actual restaurant style jjajangmeon and though it's different, these have a certain taste that can't be beat. They are still rich and sweet and 1 package is satisfying. These are so good!

I just tried it, and I loved it. This jjajangmen is truly being close to real jjajangmen you order in kor-style chinese restaurant. I personally like this better than Nongshim's "Jjapageti" because I prefer this soup-liquid type of rich ingredient, blackbean sauce, over the jjapageti's powder type of blackbean sauce. For powder type, it's so much hassle to control the water amount after you cook the noodle, in order to properly make the powder melt to water with right ratio, and sauce doesn't even taste that rich. But this Jjajangmen's blackbean sauce, comes in a packet with full rich completely finished version of sauce with lots of onion pieces in it, which I was actually surprised, considering the price I paid. All you have to do is drain to boiled water completely and put the sauce in it, and you are good to go. It is recommended to boil that sauce packet in another pot of boiling water to make the sauce itself hot, but it's not mandatory. I am actually ordering one more box of 16-pack right now just so I can enjoy a lot whenever I am hungry at home.

These are my favorite reasonably-priced instant noodles and go-to meal when I have no time or energy. I like to add some frozen vegetables to the water as I'm waiting for it to boil. Meat eaters can definitely add meat, too - the sauce is rich enough to handle the additons no problem. The noodles and sauce alone are vegan, but they're savory and intense enough that you wouldn't even know.

Ok. At first I was disappointed in the amount I recieved and I was disappointed that the noodles weren’t thicker JA jang noodle. But the convenience and taste grew on me. It’s a fast way to get the jajang taste. The noodles are pretty good but I wish they were thicker and chewier.i ordered more so I must like them enough to buy more lol. Now, they say vegan in the ads but it seems like there is some sort of meat in there?

Jjajangmen is an acquired taste but if you're here you probably already like them enough to buy it. That being said, these in my opinion don't taste like Jjajangmen you buy in Korea. That is to say, these taste really good but the ones I buy in Korea are more bitter, this isn't as bitter. Even different brands you can buy at H mart taste different than this. Again, these aren't bad but there's a clear difference between brands and in my opinion if you like the more bitter Korean style you can buy at GS25 or CU, you'll like this too.

I buy these locally when I can, but I don't live near an oriental food store so these online are the same. They taste amazing, just sweet enough to make the bean taste not overpowering, but not too sweet to feel satisfying and filling. I couple this meal with kimchi or roasted brussel sprouts and it tastes amazing.

These are so so good. Oh my goodness. Don't be alarmed by the veggies on the package, there aren't veggie chunks like that in the sauce. Some small beans but they are so small you don't notice them. The noodles are WAYYYY better than the cheap ramen, they are thicker and much more sturdy.

Product best before date May 2024 for a delivery December 2024. Refund was issued.
