Great for bread, but also make tasty dips!
during the lockdown I've been making lots of bread so decided to pick these packs up to see what tasty breads I could make. The packs are simplicity itself to use... you just throw a handful in either just before you leave it to rise, or (if you're using a breadmaker) when it beeps to tell you to put in the additional ingredients. The pieces are chopped small, so they mix well with the dough, and suffuse it with three very nice flavours:The Pizza-ey one: Yes, one of them tastes a bit like a pizza... It's tomato-ey with peppers, and happens to be my (and my son's) favourite. It's absolutely delicious if you eat the bread warm, giving off some lovely aromas. The Carway-ey one: This is really interesting... It's meant to evoke german herb breads, the kind you get in the countryside. I do like it, but I wasn't quite prepared for the strength of the "high" note spices. Use sparingly until you get a sense of its flavour. The herby one: The french provence one is a nice basic herby bread. It smells gorgeous when it's baking, and tastes amazing when warmed with a little butter on. Yum.As I mentioned you can also use these spices to make a fantastic party dip: Just pour out a pot of sour cream into a bowl, squeeze in a blob of mayonnaise to balance the tartness of the sour cream, and then stir in a few spoons of this mix. Leave it in the fridge for about an hour for the flavours to mature, and you have three amazingly tasty dips, great with nachos and tortilla chips.Although the packs seem a little expensive, I've made 6 loaves so far and two dip bowls, and I don't think I've used a noticeable amount, so you definitely get A LOT of stuff here.

Poor product description
I bought the three packs thinking I was buying a low carb bread mix with herbs. Since buying the item I have reread the details and it is far from clear what you are actually buying. Very expensive pack of herbs and spices which may be nice but not what I wanted. The product description needs to be improved. I am delighted that the people that bought the product and have given it five stars all knew but looking at the questions I am not the first person to buy thinking it is bread mix.
