I purchased my first Ion curling brush directly from Sally Beauty. I had been looking for months for a brush to replace the old Conair that finally gave up the ghost. I needed a brush with hard plastic bristles. After using the brush for a couple months, I wanted to get a second one to keep at my condo at the beach. When I saw it on Amazon, I ordered it right away. I was a little worried as I read some reviews that said the bristles were falling out. The first electric brush I purchased is now close to 6 months old and the second one close to 3 months and I have NOT had this problem. I have shoulder-length hair that is layered. I also have a perm and very thick hair and use styling mousse. I absolutely LOVE this product. I am worried that they may stop manufacturing it so I am considering purchasing a third in case one of them quits on me down the road. You will love it as much as I do.

I have bought 3 of these in the past 3 1/2 years, same exact iron. The performance of this hair tool is outstanding. However, I am perplexed by the quality. The bristles just started falling out of the first iron after about 10 months of use. I eventually had to replace it because so many bristles fell out. I bought a second and eventually, within a year, the same thing...bristles just kept falling out. I bought a third replacement in July 2024. In October, it just stopped working altogether. I am out of my refund window and it is impossible to contact ion directly. Now I am out about $200 with nothing to show for it. I will not buy a fourth ion product.

I bought this because I saw a stylist in my salon using it. I like it because it produces a looser curl than a curling iron. I have gotten it stuck in my hair a few times when unrolling it. You have to be super careful.

This purchase, was exactly what I wanted. I had a hard time getting the larger bristles and it's my favorite color(bonus) it gets nice and hot. Perfect!!!!

I have owned this product before, loved it but after 5 years with the last one, it died and I ordered a new one in Aug. 2024. This week, March of 2025, the one that is only 6 months old has died. Seems ION has quality problems and this is proof. I am disappointed and would not recommend ordering it.
