Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere, don't waste your time and money!
A "Certified Battery" label with an actual Garmin part number on a incompatible generic battery won't make it work!Even before I installed it, I noticed, "The package contained documentation that explained the circuit firmware built into the battery may be incompatible with some models of GPS units." (What the H--L!!, This is the exact Garmin part Number as mine!).The Issues I had:1. I can't tell if it's charging.2. No way to tell how much battery charge is actual remaining. (Like driving a car without a fuel gage!)3. Every time I restart my vehicle, My Garmin NUVI 850AM GPS keeps telling me the battery is low, till I press the OK button. (real pain in the neck, when you stop and start 15 - 25 times a day).I read the Amazon review on this battery and note that a user had the same issue as myself.Unlike this user, I can not except these problems.I live in northern Wisconsin and travel to remote location for photography and astronomy observation work requiring precise GPS location information, and for safety in case of emergency.I contacted Certified Battery and explained, "I hope a replacement will fix these issues", if not, I'll send this Battery back. They sent a replacement.Three weeks later - They sent the exact same battery, same Garmin part number as my original Garmin Battery # 361-00033-00, with all the same issues as the first.I contacted Certified Battery to get a RMA and return address. Now it gets interesting!Even though the original battery was shipped from Seattle WA, They required me to return ship to an address in Canada requiring a 2 page customs forms with a hazard content declaration form (Lithium battery)! Obviously to discourage returning there junk!It appears Certified Battery makes there money on the shipping charges.I was charged $4.99 Shipping from Seattle to Wisconsin, (USPS actual for 1 oz. package is $.60)I paid $6.16 to return the defective battery's to Canada.Certified Battery refunded me only $10.99 with no shipping charges!!I paid $11.15 total in shipping and endless paperwork with 3 months grief to get my $10.99 refund.

MAY BE A BUMMER (PENDING TESTING)
THE BATTERY DOES NOT SEEM TO BE WORKING. I WILL HAVE TO RUN A MULTIMETER TEST ON IT TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM IS IN THE BATTERY OR THE GPS DEVICE (ALTHOUGH IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT THE CHARGER IS THE PROBLEM).

Ripped off
I got ripped off. My Garmin will not run with this battery. The device says this an invalid battery. Not worth spending postage and headache associated with sending back for refund. One star because would not let me submit without at least one star

Battery for Garmin GPS
This battery was purchased for a Garmin Nuvi 880 GPS. The battery fit into the compartment and powered the unit right out of the package without pre-charging. The initial charge powered the unit for approx. 70 minutes before shutting off due to low voltage. The only problem is the GPS battery power indicator on the screen does not respond to the new battery, so it provides no warning on when it will run out. It shows the discharged battery symbol throughout operation. It has no problem recharging and it powers the unit despite the indicator malfunction. The package contained documentation that explained that this might happen because the circuit firmware built into the battery may be incompatible with some models of GPS units. Despite this minor inconvenience, I think the batttery works well, but not perfectly.
