Not Dark Chocolate! Among other issues...
I went ahead and ordered these after reading lots of reviews (both positive and negative). I love these so much I figured I would take the risk. So, they came in a lightly padded envelope (with my other Amazon item) enclosed all together in a plastic bag. Nothing to protect them from bumping into each other or from general handling by sorters and delivery people. Needless to say, the cookies in the package I opened were crumbly in areas. Oh, and may were stuck together too. All this I could have dealt with had the cookies actually been dark chocolate! Please look at the photo of one of the dark chocolate I had on hand (purchased at Providore in Portland when visiting there a few weeks ago). Clearly that is dark chocolate and the other is, I dunno, dark milk chocolate? I broke one in half figuring I should test it to be sure and, yep, not dark chocolate. Very disappointing! And not returnable! But, hey, I knew it was a crap shoot...maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones that receives what they ordered. Intact. Unfused. Good luck!

Tasty but a huge Melted mess
Being from the UK I was delighted to see these and I ordered them right away. They have a great dark chocolate covering without being too sweet. When they arrived they were three packs of a melted mess that couldn't be parted. There was no return on this item however Amazon did refund the total amount that I paid. Thanks Amazon but let the seller know to store and ship chocolate biscuits/cookies in refrigerated areas and trucks.

Perfect with My Cup of Tea
Jan. 2026 - Arrived in perfect condition. I so very much enjoy these with a cup of tea. Delicious!! Update on May 2026 - I ordered (2) packs of three and unfortunately they arrived stuck together like super glue. The chocolate had melted in between each biscuit and I could not even pry them apart with a very thin bladed spatula spreader. My former experience was just fine but this time not so much. I am going to reduce the stars to 3 instead of my initial 5 but keep in mind this is not the fault of the supplier but more than likely the carrier that held the package in an exceptionally warm environment.

Value at 44% off
I first purchased these from Walmart after checking prices on Amazon. Walmart when opened were totally stuck together as so many have stated. However didn't damage taste so made little serving and still enjoyed. However, I kept checking my favorite chouce of Amazon and when the dark chocolate came up at 44% off, I grabbed 2 packages of a 3 pack. Arrived in tack. Didn't last looong enough. Decided this wouldn't happen again so I ordered another 2, 3 packs. Gave one pack for a birthday present!!. Now was down to...not enough! I have now ordered 6, 3 packs and an thinking of ordering g another 12, 3 packs for Christmas presents because I can't keep them in the hoyse. Everyone wants them. They are delicious and just cannot be compared to anything else. I find Walmart stocks to be warehoused in all kinds ds of weather and stored too lon causing fusing of the chocolate. The turnover on Amazon keeps everything fresh I've found. Delicious product. I think the smaller lackafe is due to the fact dark chocolate is more Expensive than milk chocolate.
