****update 5/11/2024, still running strong puts out 14.0+ voltage when battery is low and 13.6 when fuller. Been using those value walmart batteries with 1 year warranty and lasting about 3ish years.***update 10/2/2019, still running strong haven't tested voltages this year but will update when i do**update 8/2018 still running strong puts out 14.3 volts when battery is low and 13.6 when battery is at higher capacity at idle rpm. I am now running a "4000 watt amp " probably 700 rms and the old "1500 watt amp " probably 300 rms , I play my music consistently and loud , I have higher draw fog light bulbs on my mustang and the alternator light does not turn on and my lights do not dim when the bass hits hard.however my battery as of late has been at 12.3 v over night maybe due to me buying the cheap 50 dollar Walmart batteries. if I leave my car parked for 5 days I'll need a jump start. I blame the battery not the alternator for not holding capacity, my short drives to school and work & my constant blasting of music.I am using a 16$ harbor freight solar battery charger on my dash to compensate whatever battery drain I am having and so far no dead battery .all in all I'd say this is a great value alternator & don't be scared to try it out !!For more than half the price for the cheapest alternator you can find at autozone or oreillys (they were above 200 dollars), this alternator fit my 2000 mustang gt convertible perfectly. My alternator warning light is off, and no problems so far. It's been a week and has not shown signs of failure. I am running a small sound system 1500 watts and my lights do not dim or anything like that. So far so good. I will update if it ever goes out.

Perfect fit. My old alternator was charging fine, but it had a bad diode causing my mustang to not read the camshaft sensor and throw codes, yes this is actually common, I found this out after replacing fuses and sensors, someone on a new edge mustang group told me the alt could be the actual issue. So I bought this and swapped it out, the code is gone and my car doesn't vibrate weird any more. It's crazy how one thing, can effect something completely unrelated. It's only been a couple weeks, but there has been zero issues.

My battery light was coming on intermittently in my 04 GT coupe even with good voltage and car never failed to crank. Car has 53K original miles at ~3K a year. Since the voltage regulator is built into the alternator and it was suspect, I decided to replace the original (nearly 15 years so easy to justify anyway). My issue has went away with the replacement. The new edge generation mustangs have the easiest alternators to replace right at the top of the engine bay. My only issue was cracking a small plastic clip on the car wiring adapter (me being too forceful) going into the alternator but the connection still holds tight. Certainly looks nice in the engine bay as the only thing clean in there. Easy job, working great. Certainly better than the $190 that Autozone brick and mortar store wanted.

I installed this on my 2004 mustang gt in about 30 minutes and am super happy with the price. All the brick and mortar stores around here had pricing at 190-300 for the same 110 amp size alternator. The seller includes a paper with all the specs and how the alternator performed on their benchmarking equipment. Mine produced 119 amps with other very satisfying results. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

The battery light came on in my mustang and i needed an alternator. Autozone wanted 250$ for one. I took a chance on this one because of some good reviews and price. It took about 4 days to get to me. Its a nice do it yourself part so i put it in today. My battery light is now off and everything seems good at the moment. Im giving it 4 stars for now, if this thing lasts for awhile id definatly give it a full 5 stars.

Bought this for my son's 04 Mustang GT and it seems to be working feat so far. We haven't had it on for too long but we'll see what happens. Easy installation

I brought the alternator in November 2022 and here it is just the beginning of February 2023. It have stopped working and when I contact manufactory no one will help me or Amazon product is no good. They don’t stand by the manufacture 1 yr warranty
