Take 2 doses, 5 min. apart and it loosens up mucous that causes the cough, so you cough--but then it works for 3-5 hours of no coughing for me. Can't get that fast relief from other over-the-counter stuff I've tried, and codeine makes me spin "outa-control." This Serious Cough spray is amazing! I was surprised that it worked the first day we used it. The first time I smelled it I thought of chocolate covered cherries! And it sort of tastes like it too. Truly calmed the sporadic cough due to pulminary fibrosis. I'm impressed with the amount you receive too. A little goes a long way! Two sprays twice a day works for us!
