Use it 3 times already for quick, no-mess oil changes on my car. Make sure your oil is hot so it will pump faster. Cold oil taken like forever to get done. Use it 3 times and still going good. So far so good.

I purchased this transfer pump thinking it would be very handy , wanted to transfer older diesel fuel out of my large welding machine that wasn't operated in a year, this pump was brand new out of the box, it only lasted 1/2 gallon of diesel fuel, the motor completely shut off, was hot to touch, motor burnt up ! Not even 3 minutes pumping ! I wish I could get my money back! It's junk! Do not buy this pump.I would not even give this product one STAR. But had to give a ratting to submit

I overfilled my car's engine oil (put a bit too much) and had to extract some. I did not want to open the drain and thought about using this one (my drain plug is of questionable strength and better be left untouched until next change, when I will replace it with OEM plug). Which worked very well. Oil in - oil out.

It didn’t transfer the amount stated. It took about 15 minutes to pull 4 quarts from jet ski.. not including the 3 times we stopped to let the thing cool off as it was getting very very hot.

Worked really well. Used it on 2 jet skies. Warmed up the oil on one jet ski and it took about 10 minutes to extract the oil. The other one took about 20 minutes without warming up the oil. Thumbs up

The price was reasonable, and the reviews said it worked so I took a chance and purchased it. It comes with two kind of hoses. One is for putting in the check oil tube of your vehicle and the other is for the oil coming out and into your used oil container. The clamps for connecting to your car battery are a little flimsy but still worked. I took the car out for a short drive to warm up the oil and when I came back, I hooked up everything and the pump started to suck the oil out of my car immediately. The oil came out pretty fast. Overall, the pump worked fine and I hope it will work again in the future.

I thought this pump would be slow at best but when i used it to change the oil in my pressure washer engine i was really surprised at the flow rate. Man! This thing pumps! I wouldn't change my cars oil this way because i think draining is better but for those small engines like a lawn mower, generator, pressure washer, etc where draining the oil ALWAYS creates a huge mess this is the way to go. i wish it came with a case but i can live without oneNote: before i used it the first time i used a squeeze bottle and put some oil in the intake and outlet ports. Not a lot just maybe a half oz. Then i let it sit impeller face down while i did some other things I needed to get done. I didn't want it to start up dry so i was trying to get some oil in there around the impeller. I don't know if that was necessary but it seemed like good practice. The pump picked up oil so quick maybe it wasn't necessaryBuy it, you will be glad you did!

Hose provided with this unit not long enough to make it possible what needed to be done. Was returned.

I use it for synthetic oil (lower viscosity) and works very well.

Works OK."UPDATE"*** I purchased this unit 3 years ago and used it for a trans fluid change. I used it once and it did indeed work fine. However, 2 days a go I used it to again do a trans fluid change and it didnt work so great.It continued to extract the oil fine, but it was dripping and spraying the oil from the internals of the pump/motor. For every liter of oil extracted, 2 ounces were released from inside the pump creating a mess that I'm still cleaning up!I knew when I put it away it would be awhile before I used again, so I made sure it was completely empty of fluid, clean and dry. Very dis-appointed in the unit!I now DO NOT recommend this pump!

I h have had this pump for quite awhile but just usedit the other day for 3 lawn mowers & it worked great.Got it in 3 days just like they said I would get it.

I bought this to drain the oil pan on my boat, it took a VERY long time. I have to say it did the job, just not as fast as I expected based on the specs.
