Fantastic product. Instructions poor. Service ok. Recommended based on the item quality.
This when built is a fantastic product and based on the item alone when built, it deserves 5 stars. I had to deduct one as my instructions came with 2 pages missing. Luckily I’m quite handy and the item is pretty much as simple as an ikea build but for someone that’s not that sure about DIY them it would have been a nightmare. The instructions I did have weren’t the best. The item is easy to assemble for someone with moderate DIY knowledge but if DIY is not your forte and you plan of following instructions you probably would come into some issues. There’s close ups or certain areas which is great but some crucial areas that a close up would make sense were missing. On my instructions one of the sections that had pre drilled holes for the cupboard door hinge advises you to place it in a way that leads to the doors not closing as there’s not enough clearance. The part is instructed to be installed upside down if you follow the instructions. This is one of the first parts that is to be assembled so if I had not noticed at the start I would have had to dismantle it entirely and rebuild from scratch. When build the item looks fantastic and every bit as good as the pics. I didn’t go for the led lights recommended with this I went for a LIFX Z light strip as this is comparable with my smart home set up and when it’s fitted it looks awesome. I have a scene set that turns my tv, Sonos surround sound and the 2 Lightstrips on, the one I fitted to the cabinet and the other to the back of the TV. Siri set “Movie Night”. I am very pleased with the item despite the poor instructions. There was also a little damage on one of the caucus sections but luckily this was hidden away on the inside, simply a partial stress crack but nothing that compromises the sturdiness of the unit. On the delivery side I email the company to see if there was a faster shipping method and the prioritised the item to be dispatched right away as I had advised I’m waiting on a call for an operation and need to make arrangements in advance. This was great and the sent an email saying it was dispatched that day. However, it’s a 2 price delivery and instead of this been processed as 1 delivery the processed each package as a separate delivery, this resulted in having to arrange someone to be at the property twice. This didn’t really make sense as I ship items with DPD daily and if it’s a multiple package delivery for 1 item such as furniture in this case I would generate this as one delivery saving the hassle for 2 separate delivery’s. I wasn’t informed of the 2 separate deliveries until after the 1st one turned up and the DPD driver said there only 1 box but it’s says one of 2 on the label so to call up and enquire as he didn’t have it. This resulted in several emails and phone calls to amazon and a missing item query being raised by them in order to fine the missing item. It was only after about 6 hrs I got an email saying the 2nd item had been shipped separately. This was a bit of a carry on but got there in the end up. As I say the product itself is fantastic but the instructions and the service could have been better. I do recommend the item and anyone that can build IKEA style furniture shouldn’t have any issues with the build. It’s a great size and fits a 65” tv perfectly. The high gloss effect of the front panels look great and it was packaged well despite the slight damage which was more than likely when the item was being made rather than damage with delivery. I would recommend this item for its value but expected better customer services and instructions for the price paid.

Appears much larger than in photo .Shelves are deep and sturdy
Disappointed that light fittings the main attraction was not included. and is therefore extra to purchase.

Whoever designed this stand obviously has no AV equipment
I bought this TV stand as it is one of very few that has room for a full size soundbar on a shelf underneath the TV. For this purpose, it works very well, and looks very clean and modern. It holds my 48" LG TV perfectly. The unit is very sturdy and the cupboards at the bottom have lots of room and feel very solid. The unit is basically 2 parts - the main frame, which is made out of a matt white coated chipboard, and the glossy panels that attach to the front. Note that the middle shelf is actually in the middle of the frame, but the top glossy panel overhangs to make it look like it's a lot shorter than it really is.I'm very happy with my purchase but there are definitely a couple of things to be aware of.Firstly, it is not designed with any sort of cable management in mind. There are only 2 tiny pre-drilled holes in the back panel, and you won't even get an HDMI cable through them without modification. I ended up cutting a couple of big holes in the bottom of the back panel (easily done with a small hacksaw and Stanley knife) and now I can pass lots of cables and full size UK plugs into the unit. But to make matters worse, the middle shelf is as deep as the unit, so if you do pass cables between the middle shelf and the bottom cupboard parts, the cables will be squashed by the back panel. I solved this by adding some small bumper pads like you find on the inside of cupboard doors, to press the relatively flimsy back panel away from the cables as they pass behind the middle shelf.Like others have said, quality control seems to be an issue. Mine was delivered with several chips on some of the panels, but luckily most were in positions where they are hidden by the glossy panels you attach to the front, so I'm happy to keep it.Last thing to note is that it will be delivered in 2 separate packages. In my case DPD delivered them on different days - until you have both packages there is no point trying to assemble it as you need parts from both to build it.Overall if you need a TV stand that can accommodate a soundbar, and you're willing to do that little bit of modification, this is a great choice. It's also relatively inexpensive and feels good quality once it's assembled.

Not an easy assembly
I read the reviews and thought wow this is good!! mmm.... should have read all the reviews!!! was NOT easy to assemble!! It's ok but DOESN'T look THAT good! Cheap material with 4 small boards that that look ok! Thought there was a background light! eh nope!! would not recommend and would not buy again from this company!!

Dont let them being in Germany put you off
The firm's customer service is excellent and they are very quick to address any issues. I was not happy with the colour of the doors on receipt as they did not look the same as in the pictures and they despatched a different coloured set straight away at no charge which I received within a few days. As we are not brilliant at DIY we got someone in to do the job and they did say it was not the easiest job they had ever done. The main issue was aligning the front doors to fit properly as one was higher than the other.Once put together the unit does look nice and compliments our recently decorated lounge, however one of the doors has dropped slightly since the installation so not sure whether it was the chap that put it together or the build of the units. All in all the units look smart, customer services is great although based in Germany, but don't let that put you off as they are great and any issues they will resolve and even if you need additional parts you will get within a few days (couldn't necessarily guarantee that with a UK firm). Therefore I am a happy customer
