Sturdy & strong and moderately difficult to assemble. Buy some furniture sliders with it!
Very strong, very heavy, a little difficult to setup. Do yourself a favor and buy something you can easily move this with. I bought some reusable furniture sliders for carpeted surfaces and this thing slid like a dream. Without them, this stand would be pretty much impossible to slide across the carpet. The shelves are 10 inches apart, which is what I looked for in a TV stand as I have a rather large center channel speaker. The entire unit is fairly tall, and this helps with me and my wife because we currently have a very long baby cage in front of it and the fireplace, and this stand allows us to read the subtitles on our favorite korean soap operas very easily. I should say her favorite korean soap operas, I just watch them to make her happy. Speaking of making my wife happy, she loves the way the furniture itself looks. It's got great colors and fits in well with your black electronics and speakers.Assembly was actually a bit difficult. The instructions just show you where to put the screws, but didn't offer any insight as to how to do this alone. So here's what I did: First off, you're going to make an L shape with either the bottom or top piece, and one of the side pieces. The screws it came with are pretty strong and fasten very well with only a few key turns, so once you get that one bolt in there, it's a lot easier from then on out, but that first bolt IS tricky because it's a balancing act. From there, get your second bolt in so the side piece is totally attached, and now the unit can rest on it's own on the side. Attach the second side piece the same way so you have a |___| shape. Now attach the opposing side (either top or bottom) and you'll have the box setup. From there the middle piece slides in perfectly and it's the easiest piece. That's how I did it anyway, and I didn't have a whole lot of problems, even with my wife just standing there, watching, judging, not helping. She was skeptical I could get the entire TV and home theater taken apart and put back together at 2am on a Tuesday but I proved her wrong.I can't comment about the TV mount attachment since I didn't install it, but I do have plans to as the baby gate isn't always going to work and I don't want my 65 inch tv causing any accidents. The table top of the TV stand had more than enough room for my UN65F7100 and it's stand. One last thing I figured I'd include in this review which people might like to hear is it comes with a scratch pen. So presumably if you have a scratch on the wood, you can use this pen to help mask it. Kind of nice.

Built Like a Tank
This Cabinet/TV Stand is built to last. Built like a tank. The Fedex guy came a huffing and puffing with the box and thanked his lucky stars I live on the first floor. It's heavy metal frame and decent wood panels are a breeze to put together. Tip : the threading on the holes is pretty good and the hardware is also up to snuff, but the paint on the screws and in the holes make starting the screws and hand tightening kind of tough. I recommend that you thread all the screws in their respective places with the individual parts of the cabinet unassembled. That will burr out the paint and clear the holes and make the actual assembly a lot easier. Go easy on the torque. I used my own stainless steel allen keys which have a longish handle, so I could easily have stripped out the screws, but didn't. Just snug until the metal pieces pull together is enough for the screws. There are 45 degree angle pieces at the corners in the back to give additional strength laterally, so you don't have to crank everything down until the heads ring off.Put together it looks sweet. I bought it and built it for my son. He loves the darker wood and black metal frame with the fake bolt heads. The curve in the shelves at the front is a nice touch. There was a tiny 3/16 inch scratch in the metal at the front of the bottom shelf. I touched it up with a black sharpie and it looks fiine. The packaging is sturdy, but it is heavy, so I can imagine a little ding here or there, but for this particular shipment the wood was pristeen and the metal was fine apart from the afore mentioned ding.I think I am going to give him two of the 5 shelf A/V Stands in the same Santa Fe curved shelf bolt fake bolt head style to go on either side of the TV Stand. If you buy this I think you will be pleased.

We were happy with this product
We were happy with this product. Attractive and very sturdy. Very nice quality for the price. We use it strictly as a table to place our TV on. My only two (minor) negative comments are (1) it was a bit of a hassle building because many of the screws required Allen wrenches (included). A standard philips head would have been much quicker. (2) In this config there is no great way to hide the wires. It wold be nice of they had a wire hider from base to table top. There is little point in using the vertical TV support for this, because unless the TV is attached to it, it would just look like an appendage and it would be ugly.

Best stand for the money- Swivel mount is a must!
Love it!This is a very solid good looking stand that I use to mount my 50in Plasma TV.What sold me on this particular stand was the swivel mount. I have an older 50 in Panasonic Plasma that did not swivel on its own. The TV was starting to look dated compared to more modern TV's so I bought this stand with the hopes of mounting it to the stand and giving it a nice streamlined look. What happened next was exactly what I hoped. The stand itself was easy to assemble, and the stand was able to easily hold my heavy TV and swivel with it. The stand does not move at all when correcting the angle of the TV and transformed the way not only the way the TV looks in the room, but my cord managment as well. Spine that the TV mounts two comes with areas to feed cords and wrap them around as to minamize the amount of cord laying on the ground. This allows the TV to look like its floating without it having to show cord coming out every which way.Overall I am very pleased with this product and I will look for this product again when purchasing another stand for another room.
