Audiophile CMOY headphone amplifier USA made with parts-Blank Tin

I can tell a huge difference in the sound quality and how much it fills my head phones. The amp/deck in smartphones and mp3 players are less than good and this fills in the gap to make music listening great. The seller was great at responding about delivery. The hardware components of the CMOY can be removed and replaced with other types giving different sounds. Excellent.

Looks great, so easy to work with and makes a huge difference when plugged into my TV. Only questionable value is when using it for listening to music on my phone, it provides some amplification but nothing like the impact when using with TV.I understand the device is easy to upgrade (for the adventurous) to get you more bang for your buck, but frankly it works well enough that I'll probably skip that step.

My Sennheiser HD600 headphones needed amplification to eliminate the faint, faint crackling on some notes and bring them to life, as they require power a computer or mp3 player can't send out. This did the trick, and came 6 full days before the estimated delivery date!

This well-constructed little tin box of tricks is quite amazing. Talk about punching above your weight!This unremarkable, unassuming little gizmo has made a BIG difference to my listening pleasure. I class myself as a "recovering audiophile" and frankly, my classic iPod had, of late, been largely consigned to a mere storage device for my large music library. The thrill was gone. This despite all my music files being high bitrate (256kbps to lossless) and utilizing a pair of great, and eminently iPod-driveable headphones (Sony MDR-V6s)This CMOY amplifier has brought my iPod/V6s back to life! With the volume control at about 1/4 of the way up, the volume is good and loud. The bass has punch with detail, the vocals are more forward, the highs crisp and clean. The real revelation though, is the effect on the V6s' soundstage. Everything has opened up IMMENSELY, to the point where I almost have to check that I'm not wearing a pair of open headphones and not the well-isolated V6s.I purchased this basically on a whim. Boy, am I glad I did! The best money I've spent in a long time...One (VERY minor) quibble that I have is the lack of any indication that the amplifier is powered up. There is a red light inside the tin, but once the lid is closed it's out of sight, and out of mind. I haven't yet left the unit on, but it is a possibility, and no doubt would shorten the life of the battery..... however, as I said, it's a minor thing.If you're looking for a portable battery-powered headphone amp, I can thoroughly recommend this one.

Delivers a good sound boost. Only con I have for it is that it shocks me when I open the case sometimes.

It sounds good. And its loud. A good solution to a multitude of audio problems if you know what you're doing.

Excellent little amp. I use it between my mp3 player and truck stereo. Also with backyard speaker system. Much better volume!
